Nick's nest
.
A pair of eyeglasses is talking in this story. It tells the story of Nick
who took them by force from George's eyes and put them in his
'nest'. Nick's nest is a box placed in Nick's tent. This tent is Nick's
secret place. He goes there when he is afraid of his violent father and
he keeps the things he takes from his classmates. Not all of them.
Only those ones he is bullying. When his father learns about the
glasses from the school's headmaster he gets so angry that he
destroys Nick's nest but the glasses are OK .So, Nick takes them back
to school and he gives them to his favourite teacher Mr Andreas, a
man that is caring and understanding. He helps Nick and finally Nick
says how sorry he is and he becomes George's new friend.

Dialogue 1
Eyeglasses talking: Ah! I can hear sounds from the living room. I think it's Nick
with his Dad
Dad: Where are George's glasses? Tell me!
Nick: I don't have them, dad
Dad: George's dad told me you took them, didn't you?
Nick: No, I didn't take them.
Dad: I'll search your tent.
Nick: No, it's my personal place.
Dad: I want to hear the truth.
Eyeglasses : Nick's dad is trying to find us. He destroys the tent. We feel we are
flying and then nothing. We are safe.
Dad ( screaming) :Stay in your room until you tell me the truth.
Nick: I am not lying.
Dad: When you come back from school tomorrow we have a discussion to make.

Mr. Andreas: Good morning, Nick! What are you doing here so early?
Nick: I found George's glasses, sir.
Mr Andreas: Where did you find them?

Nick face down and he doesn;t answer. Mr. Andreas understands and he hugs
