Welcome to Canadian Western Agribition and the 2012 Charolais Sale. We are very
pleased with the offering we have for you this year, with something for everyone.
Exciting flushes and embryos, great bred heifers and some outstanding heifer calves right
from the show strings. You have the opportunity to buy the animals one day and stand in the
show picture the next. The excitement for this year's show and sale season is already upon us

Lizzie is becoming known as one of the premier donor females in the Charolais breed. She blasted onto the scene at Agribition in 2009 where she was admired by many and was the high selling
female in the sale. This powerful 1/2 French female will make anyone’s herd bull look great and is a total outcross to most in the breed. She has been an excellent producer of eggs, producing 27
embryos in her last flush. This fall a transplant daughter by PCC Sudden Impact was the high selling heifer calf in the Uppin’ the Ante sale and a week later was named the 2012 Canadian National
Heifer Calf Champion at Expo Boeuf in Quebec. You have the option of using semen from our two National Champion herd bulls, ACC Hercules, PCC Sudden Impact, or any bull of your choosing. We
guarantee 6 grade A embryos, and anything over 12 embryos we split. All flush work to be done at DRI at the buyer’s expense.

Selection does not have to be made until they have calved.
No guess work here, they are all due to calve early in the
year and selection must be made by our bull sale on
March 30. What an opportunity to select not only from the
heifers, but also their production!
There are variations in everything here except the quality,
it’s top notch from one end to the other. We have always
picked our sires to balance strong maternal traits with
performance in order to keep our bull customers satisfied.
There are many Dateline daughters in this group, and
Legend’s service on them worked really well for us.

Terms: The terms of the sale are cash or cheque payable immediately after the sale in Canadian funds. All settlements must
be made with the sale clerks before cattle will be released. The right of property will not pass until final payment is made.
Bidding: Each animal will sell to the highest bidder. Bidders unable to attend the sale may phone their bids and instructions
to the sale manager, auctioneer or special representatives. Bids must be received in sufficient time prior to the sale.
Disputes: Bidding will be reopened between the parties involved. If no further bid is made, the buyer will be the person
from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer’s decision is final.
Announcements: Announcements made from the auction block will take precedence over printed matter in the catalogue.
Buyers are cautioned to pay close attention to announcements.
Purchaser’s Risk: Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold. Animals will be cared for at the
purchaser’s risk for a reasonable length of time. All animals left with the seller must be insured.
Certificate of Registration: Each animal will carry papers issued by the Canadian Charolais Association. A certificate of
registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer after payment has been made.
Breeder Guarantee – Females: As per the Canadian Charolais Association Code of Ethics. Copies are available at the
settlement desk to be picked up by the buyer at any time.
Exception Guarantee: In case where the animal is subjected to any hormonal or surgical reproductive techniques after
the sale, this guarantee shall be null and void. The seller is not responsible for damage caused by foreign bodies after the
animal has been sold or for sickness not apparent at sale time. In no event shall the seller be responsible for more than the
purchase price.
Accidents: Although every precaution will be taken to protect the safety and comfort of buyers, neither the sale manager,
auctioneer, or sellers assume any responsibility and disclaim any liability, legal or otherwise, in the event of accident or loss
of property.
By Livestock is only acting as a medium between the buyer and seller and is not responsible for failure on the part of either
party to live up to their obligations; or for the truth of any warrantees or representations, expressed or implied. By Livestock
assumes no obligation to enforce or collect monies between parties. By Livestock assumes no responsibility for any credit
extended by the seller to the buyer. Any legal action taken in exceptional cases must be between the buyer and the seller.
The buyer must look to the seller for fulfilment of all guarantees and representations.
Insurance: Insurance will be available sale day.
