A survey of bowel cancer patients conducted last year<br />
revealed that the majority of people, 85%, face difficulties<br />
when purchasing insurance, particularly travel insurance,<br />
due to their condition.<br />
Respondents highlighted<br />
that they struggled to<br />
get insured at affordable<br />
prices, some said they<br />
couldn’t get insured until<br />
five years after remission<br />
and some had been refused<br />
altogether.<br />
