NACHO RODRÍGUEZ is a Spanish 2d animator and director, specialising in music videos, videogames<br />

and short films. He has lived in France, working in several Ubisoft videogames. His shorts and music<br />

videos have won a bunch of international awards.<br />

THE MANY PIECES OF MR. COO<br />

It’s a fully animated point and click videogame,<br />

or maybe an interactive animation full of puzzles.<br />

It can be played and enjoyed by anyone older<br />

than 10. It’s a surreal adventure without words,<br />

exploring the whimsical world of Mr Coo, an<br />

award-winning character created by Nacho<br />

Rodríguez years ago. Mr Coo first appeared<br />

in 2004, and has starred several animations,<br />

a music video, and a cyber-comic (or “choose<br />

your own adventure”- style game) which is the<br />

predecessor of this project: El laberinto esférico<br />

It will consist of 6 episodes, with the possibility<br />

to grow from there. Currently, 2 of these<br />

episodes are produced and playable, taking<br />

around 30 minutes of gameplay. It will be<br />

launched firstly for ipad and iphone, and then<br />

we’ll see about PC & Mac.<br />
