Mike Krause, President & CEO
Dear Valued Business Partner,
Thank you for taking an interest in
learning more about WURTH USA.
People like you and businesses like
yours are the reason why we come to
work every day. Without our customer
partners, we could not have been in
business for more than 43 years in the
United States.
Every one of our 450+ WURTH USA
employees are a local part of more
than 300 communities across the
US and our people live in the local
markets where they work. Many of us
have families and children attending
school or playing organized sports
in your city or town and just like
you we are actively involved in the
07 WURTH USA Inc.
local community. Having that local
connection to community is also
what helps us stay connected to our
customers and understand your needs
better.
WURTH USA was founded in 1969
with one in-house employee and two
sales representatives who worked to
supply customers in New York, New
Jersey, Connecticut and Massachusetts
with automotive supplies.
In 1991, WURTH California started to
operate independently in the market
to serve customers in the Western US
as did WURTH Illinois and WURTH
Florida in their respective states. The
companies focused on making the
name WURTH widely known as fast
as possible in America.
Beginning in 1999, all US companies
belonging to the Automotive Division–
WURTH USA, WURTH West, WURTH
Southeast and WURTH Midwest –
were merged into one single company
in order to represent a uniform
WURTH brand across the American
market. Four Distribution Centers are
strategically located across the US to
guarantee the fastest delivery time to
our more than 40,000 customers and
orders are processed and shipped
within 24 hours with a 98.5 % service
rate. WURTH USA has a direct sales
force that consists of 375 Territory
Managers offering more than 12,000
stocking items that are sold primarily in
the field of Transportation Equipment
repair and maintenance.
It is very important in a service business
like ours that people enjoy coming to
work each and every day and that
they are proud of what they do.
Doing our very best to deliver on our
promises and treating each other with
respect is a key part of our culture at
WURTH USA. If I could welcome each
and every new customer personally,
I would say thank you very much for
allowing us to partner with you and
we will do our very best to take great
care of you!
Sincerely,
Michael Krause
President & CEO
