The following documents should be attached to the application
1. Personal statement
Please submit a one-page written in English narrative statement discussing your professional and academic
development as well as future plans. With reference to your personal qualities and experience, please discuss your
ability to join graduate program in economics and management in Poland. ‘Personal Statement’ should not be a mere
listing of facts, nor should it repeat the content of your personal data. Rather, it should include information about your
education and career, scholarly activities, special interests, and the reason for which you wish to study in Poland.
Please highlight any experiences that demonstrate your ability to adapt to other cultural settings, a willingness to share
with or learn from others. Please note that your Personal Statement is limited to one page.
2. Two letters of reference.
Please arrange for the submission of letters from two persons qualified to evaluate your academic and professional
development and personal suitability to the program. Letters of reference should be written by professors under whom
you have studied or pursued research or by someone who has supervised you in the workplace. Where applicable, one
reference should be from your thesis supervisor. Letters of reference should be written in English and should not be
written by persons related to you either by blood or marriage, or by personal friends.
3. English Language Proficiency Proof
There is required an original of FCE certificate, TOEFL certificate, or other certificate or official confirmation form
the University Language Center about the English skills.
4. Baccalaureate
Please provide the original of baccalaureate ,if it is not in Polish, along with its sworn translation into English.
5. Diploma of B.Sc. or M.Sc.
Please provide the original of B.Sc. or M.Sc. diplomas, ,if it is not in Polish, along with its sworn translation into
English.
6 Academic transcript (supplement)
Along with the submitted diploma (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) there is required an academic transcript- a list of all subject passed
for the curriculum complete and certified by the competent authority of home university. If the transcript is not in
Polish ,please provide an English version. THE ACADEMIC TRANSCRIPT SHOULD INCLUDE THE NAME AND
ADDRESS, INCLUDING E-MAIL OF COMPETETNT AUTHORITY ISSUING THIS DOCUMENT.
7. Passport’s copy
There is required a copy passport pages where picture and personal data are mentioned, along with its sworn
translation into English. For Polish citizens the copy of Personal ID is required.
8. Two developed pictures – passport format
9. Copy along with extended English summary of the B.Sc or M.Sc. thesis if the recognition (nostrification) will
be required.
Nostrification is required for countries OTHER then: Armenia, Austria, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria,
Croatia, Czech Rep., Estonia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Republic of Korea, Cuba, Libya, Lithuania, Latvia, Macedonia,
Moldova, Mongolia, Germany, Russia, Romania, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovakia, Slovenia, Syria, Tajikistan,
Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Hungary, Vietnam.
