The automatic dispenser releases a metered dose of 55 mg of insecticide every 7.5 (170g)
or 15 (212g) minutes. The dispenser automatically activates the special metered valve
every 7.5 or 15 minutes. USE AREAS: Food service and preparation areas, meat packing &
food processing plants when not in use, restaurants, lodges, resorts, stores, supermarkets,
bottling plants, warehouses, hotels, motels, hospitals, nursing homes, mud rooms, garages,
basements, enclosed porches & patios, utility rooms, storage sheds, workshops, funeral
homes, kennels, farms, barns, stables, dairies and poultry houses. It is suggested that the
container be changed once a month. Doktor Doom 4 Zero Nine C is designed for use
in Cam Spring Action (CSA) Type Automatic Dispenser. The automatic dispenser releases a
metered dose of 55 mg of insecticide every 15 minutes. One can contains enough product
to protect an area up to 170 m3 (6,000 cubic feet3) of free flow air space, for up to 30
days. Within 24 hours the area is relatively free of flies, mosquitoes, gnats, and small flying
moths and with continued use reduces annoyance from them. Effectiveness of this product
will be noticeable within one hour after the Dispenser is activated. Recommended use is for
24 hours: but if less than 24 hour is required, the Dispenser should be set to start one hour
before control is desired and run one hour after control is no longer needed. Factors such as
airflow rate, size of space treated, humidity and room temperature affect insect activity and
control. Therefore, one unit per 170 m 3 (6,000 cubic feet 3 ) of unobstructed space should be
considered as an average with adjustments made depending on specific conditions at usage
site. As with any method of insect control, best results are achieved when sanitation and
other positive insect prevention practices are followed. DIRECTIONS: Remove the protective
cap from the top of the can and insert can into dispenser. Place dispenser 2-3 metres above
the floor at a point where air flow will carry the insecticide throughout the area. Do not install
directly over food or food packing surfaces. Read dispenser instruction sheet for installation
assistance. PRECAUTIONS: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Contents under pressure.
Container may explode if heated. Do not expose to temperatures above 50ºC. Do not spray
near open flames or sparks. Do not puncture or incinerate. Avoid contact with skin, eyes
and clothing. Avoid inhaling spray mist. Do not install directly over polished, plastic or
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: SHAKE CAN WELL BEFORE USING. Remove
protective cap and insert “applicator wand” into spray nozzle before using.
FOR CONTROL OF WASPS, BEES, HORNETS & YELLOW JACKETS: From
a distance of 2 to 2.5 meters (6-8 feet), with the wind coming from behind,
point applicator wand in direction of the insect nest. Depress nozzle, and
continue spraying until the opening of the nest is completely covered with
the insecticide foam. Because the insects will now be unable to leave the nest,
insert the applicator wand into the nest opening and fill the nest space (or
void where nest is located) with the insecticide foam. If the nest is accessible,
allow sufficient time for insects to become inactive before destroying the
nest. APPLICATION TO NESTS SHOULD BE MADE IN LATE EVENING
OR EARLY MORNING WHEN INSECTS ARE AT REST. FOR CONTROL OF
CRAWLING INSECTS: Spiders, Sowbugs, Earwigs, Cockroaches, Crickets,
Millipedes, Silverfish, Ants, Fleas, Carpet beetles, Brown Dog Ticks. This
product is designed for applying into cracks, crevices, or tight areas that
are difficult to reach. Spray directly into cracks & crevices particularly
under baseboards where cockroaches like to go, and where the insecticide
won’t be mopped away. The foaming action of this formula completely
fills tight crevices, leaving an insecticidally-active residue. Spray hard to
reach places, behind refrigerators, washers, under sinks, between cabinets,
under counters, etc. LIMITATIONS: DO NOT USE as a Hornet & Wasp Spray
inside homes, or on humans or animals. DO NOT USE as a space spray.
PRECAUTIONS: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. May cause eye or skin
irritation. Harmful if swallowed, inhaled or absorbed through skin. Provide
adequate ventilation of area being treated. Avoid contact with skin, eyes
and clothing. Do not inhale spray mist. Wash thoroughly with soap and warm
water after using. Do not allow children or pets to contact treated areas
until surfaces are thoroughly dry. Cover or remove exposed food before
use. Do not contaminate food, food containers, utensils, food preparation
Mosquitoes, Small Flying Moths, Wasps, Gnats- Calculate cubic meters of space to be treated. Close
all doors and windows. Shut off all ventilating systems. Prevent persons and animals from entering
area. Spray in sweeping motion to all parts of the room especially windows and light sources. Insects
must be contacted by mist to be killed. When possible, direct mist to areas where insects are present.
Apply for 2-3 seconds per 30 cubic meters of space. Repeat treatment as necessary. CRAWLING
INSECTS: Cockroaches, Ants, Spiders, Silverfish- Open all cabinets, storage areas and closets. Spray
directly on insects or in cracks and crevices where insects hide. FOR COCKROACHES: For best results,
spray directly on cockroaches and thoroughly spray all parts of the room suspected of harboring
these pests. Special attention should be paid to cracks, hidden surfaces, under sinks, behind stoves
and refrigerators, food storage area, and wherever these pests are suspected of hiding. Also, spray
around door and window frames. Repeat as necessary. FOR SPIDERS AND SILVERFISH: For control
of these insects, frequent and repeated spraying of baseboards, windows, door frames, bookcases,
and storage areas should be made. For adequate control, spray directly on insects. FOR CRICKETS:
Spray thoroughly and frequently behind stoves, refrigerators, under cabinets, in food storage areas,
and especially in closets, basements, and other damp areas. For best results, spray directly on insects.
FOR ANTS: Spray ant trails, nests and points of entry for 10-15 seconds per 9 square meters of floor
area. FOR INDIAN MEAL MOTHS AND ANGOUMOIS GRAIN MOTHS: Close doors and windows. Direct
spray into all parts of room especially around stored food product containers, pallets and darkened
areas. Spray 7 to 10 seconds for each 30 cubic meters of space. Keep area closed for 15 minutes
following treatment. Repeat application weekly or as needed. FOR CARPET BEETLES: Spray directly
on beetles, baseboards, floors, shelves and carpets. Repeat treatment as necessary. FOR CONFUSED
FLOUR BEETLES, SAWTOOTHED GRAIN BEETLES, GRANARY WEEVILS, RICE WEEVILS, RED FLOUR
BEETLES, GRAIN MITES: Spray into cracks and crevices, processing and handling equipment, around
cartons or containers and other areas where these insects tend to congregate. Spray 30 seconds for
each 9 square meters of surface. Keep area closed for 45 minutes to 1 hour after treatment. Repeat
applications as necessary. FOR BEDBUGS: Spray mattresses, particularly around tufts and seams.
Take beds apart and spray into all joints. Treat baseboards, moldings and floors. Repeat treatment
as necessary. FOR FLEAS: Spray sleeping quarters, bedding, floor and floor covering where pets are
kept. Repeat as necessary. Do not use directly on pets. TREATMENT FOR INACCESSIBLE VOIDS
(Attics, False Ceilings, Wall and Equipment Voids): For exposed stages of Cockroaches, Spiders, Ants,
Silverfish, Crickets, Centipedes, Millipedes, Sowbugs, and Beetles-Calculate void volume and treat at
a rate of 20 seconds per 30 cubic meters (for 6.8 kg container-10 seconds for 30 cubic meters) Spray
by placing injection tip into crack or crevice, hole or other small opening into void space. Repeat
treatment as necessary. Ensure proper ventilation after sealed areas have been treated. NOTICE TO
APPLICATOR: During any volumetric treatment, wear an approved pesticide respirator. OUTDOOR
GROUND APPLICATION: To kill fleas, mosquitoes and gnats in open areas near buildings and in
campgrounds, best results are obtained when temperature is 24°C or less and there is a wind speed
of 8 km per hour or less. Apply at rate of 60-80 seconds per 0.4 hectare (for 6.8 kg container – spray
30-40 seconds per 0.4 hectare). Spray in wide sprays across area to be treated. Repeat treatment as
necessary. PRECAUTIONS: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Harmful if swallowed or absorbed
through skin. Avoid breathing of vapors or spray mist. Do not remain in treated areas. Avoid contact
with skin or eyes. In meat packing plants and food processing plants treat only when plant is not in
operation. No exposed meat or food products, ingredients or packaging materials are to be kept in
the room. Cover food handling equipment. All treated surfaces that may contact meat, food products
or other food products should be washed and rinsed thoroughly with potable water after treatment
and before re-use for food processing. Do not use in nurseries or rooms where infants, ill or aged
persons are confined. To spray food storage areas, remove food products from shelves and racks.
Spray thoroughly and replace food products. In the home, all food processing surfaces and utensils
should be covered during treatment or thoroughly washed before use. CONTENTS UNDER PRESSURE.
DOKTOR DOOM BVT 4 Eighteen Flying Insect Killer - Commercial is intended for use
with an automatic BVT dispenser. The dispenser automatically releases a metered dose of 55
mg of insecticide every 15 minutes. Each can contains enough product to protect an area of at
least 170 m3 (6,000 cubic feet) of free flow air space, for up to 30 days. Within 24 hours the
area is relatively free of flies, mosquitoes, gnats, and small flying moths and with continued use
reduces annoyance from them. Effectiveness of this product will be noticeable within one hour
after the Dispenser is activated. Recommended use is for 24 hours: but if less than 24 hour is
required, the Dispenser should be set to start one hour before control is desired and run one
hour after control is no longer needed. One can contains enough product to protect an area up
to 170 m 3 (6,000 cubic feet) of free flow air space. Factors such as airflow rate, size of space
treated, humidity and room temperature affect insect activity and control. Therefore, one unit
per 170 m 3 (6,000 cubic feet) of unobstructed space should be considered as an average with
adjustments made depending on specific conditions at usage site. As with any method of insect
control, best results are achieved when sanitation and other positive insect prevention practices
are followed. DIRECTIONS: Remove the protective cap from the top of the can and insert can
into dispenser. Place dispenser 2-3 metres above the floor at a point where air flow will carry the
insecticide throughout the area. Do not install directly over food or food packing surfaces. Read
dispenser instruction sheet for installation assistance. PRECAUTIONS: KEEP OUT OF REACH
OF CHILDREN. Contents under pressure. Container may explode if heated. Do not expose
to temperatures above 50º C. Do not spray near open flames or sparks. Do not puncture or
incinerate. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Avoid inhaling spray mist. Do not install
BUILDINGS: Spray grassy areas around yard borders thoroughly, contacting as many insects as possible on upper
and lower leaf surfaces to control ticks that may carry Lyme disease. Spraying should begin when the insects first
appear. Do not wait until the plants are heavily infested. FOR USE IN FOOD AND NONFOOD AREAS OF FOOD
PROCESSING PLANTS, INDUSTRIAL INSTALLATION, BAKERIES, RICE AND WHEAT MILLS, RESTAURANTS,
TOBACCO WAREHOUSES, GRAIN ELEVATORS AND WAREHOUSES: To kill flying insects such as fruit flies, house
flies, hornets, wasps, grain moths, gnats, mosquitoes and skipper flies, dilute this concentrate at the rate of 1
part with 29 parts water (0.95 L with 28.50 L water) up to 1 part to 11 parts water (0.95 L with 11.4 L water).
Use at the rate of 15 to 30 millilitres of dilute spray per 28.30 cubic metres of space. Direct the space treatment
upward and whenever practical, keep doors and windows closed for at least 10 minutes after application. The
use of this product in food processing or food handling establishments should be confined to time periods when
the plant is not in operation. Food should be covered or removed during treatment. Where oil residues are not
undesirable, this product can be diluted at the rate of 1 part to 29 parts up to 1 part to 11 parts in deodorized
base oil instead of water and applied as a space spray with any good type applicator such as mechanical or ULV
fogger capable of producing particles of aerosol size. FOR USE IN STORAGE SITES: This concentrate can be used
in warehouse bins and trucks, cargo ships, mills, bin hoppers, elevators and conveying equipment as a clean up
prior to using them for storage. In mills and elevators, all grain-infested accumulations should be removed from
the bin hoppers. All storage areas and conveying equipment should be thoroughly cleaned by sweeping out the
waste grain, cobwebs and other debris from the walls and rafters as well as on the floor and door frames with
special attention to material lodged in the cracks and crevices. All of the debris should be removed and burned
to kill eggs and insects that might be present. For farms, particular attention should be given to cleaning up
COMMERCIAL
Multi-purpose insecticide for use on ornamentals,
stored products and livestock areas.
around the used feed and grain bags, grain residues from wagons, harvesting equipment and feed troughs.
Newly harvested grain should not be placed in the same bin with carry-over grain and all carry- over grain stocks
that are not treated with grain protectant should be fumigated. These cleaning operations should be done within
two or three weeks before harvest. After above sanitation measures have been employed, spray all areas prior
to use for storage with 1 part to 29 parts water (0.95 L with 28.50 L water) up to 1 part to 11 parts (0.95 L with
11.4 L water). Apply at the rate of 3.8 L per 70 square metres on walls, floors, ceilings and partition boards of
bins, paying particular attention to forcing the spray into all cracks and crevices. FOR USE IN LIVESTOCK AREAS:
1) To control poultry lice, use a dilution of 60 to 90 millilitres of concentrate per 3.8 L of water to spray roosts,
walls and nests or cages thoroughly. 2) For control of bedbugs and mites in poultry houses, dilute at the rate of
60 to 90 millilitres per 3.8 L of water and spray crevices of roost poles, cracks in walls and cracks in nests where
the bedbugs and mites hide. FOR USE IN BARNS, DAIRIES, MILKING PARLOURS, MILKING ROOMS AND
POULTRY HOUSES: To control flies, gnats and mosquitoes, dilute at the rate of 60 millilitres per 3.8 L of water.
REMOVE ANIMALS BEFORE SPRAYING. Apply as a fog or fine mist (at approximately 60 millilitres per 28 cubic
metres of space), directing the spray toward the ceiling and upper corners and not directly towards the animals
or birds. For best results, close doors and windows before spraying, and keep them closed for 10 to 15 minutes.
Applicator should vacate the treated area and ventilate it prior to returning. Milking equipment should be
covered before spraying and washed thoroughly before use. Repeat application as necessary. PRECAUTIONS:
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: This formulation may be used in
mosquito adulticiding programs involving residential and
recreational areas, overgrown wasteland areas, roadsides and
pastures where adult mosquitoes are present in annoying
numbers. Best results are obtained by application when
there is a slight breeze of 3.25 km/hr or less. Fog with the
breeze so that the wind will carry fog from roads or paths
into the area to be treated. Repeat applications as needed
to obtain desired reduction in adult mosquito population.
FOR TRUCK-MOUNTED LECO MACHINE: The objective is to
treat terrain with 2.5 to 3 grams of pyrethrins and 25 to 31.25
grams of piperonyl butoxide per hectare. Fog this solution with
a discharge rate of 60 to 67.5 mL per minute while machine
is moving 3.25 km/h and pressure is set at 210.9 g/cu cm.
Discharge nozzle is positioned approximately 30 degrees above
horizontal off side of truck bed. Delivery rate and travelling
speed can be varied slightly, as long as the basic objective of
2.5 to 3 grams actual pyrethrins per hectare is maintained.
Use swath width of 100 metres for hectare calculations.
