The Bellini was created in 1948 by Giuseppi Cipriani at<br />

Harry’s Bar in Venice. He named it after 15th century artist<br />

Giovanni Bellini and used a local tradition of macerating<br />

white peaches in wine to create one of <strong>the</strong> world’s most<br />

popular cocktails.<br />

Allegedly named after elderly bike-riding men who swerve<br />

for soda. The Negroni was born and soon became a classic<br />
