BOTTEGA LIMONCINO
The spirited force
behind Bottega Liqueurs
Meet Sandro Bottega: race car driver,
modern art aficionado, singer, guitarist,
glass designer, avid tennis player and
– above all – the charismatic producer
of Bottega Liqueurs.
The basic principles Sandro holds
fundamental are simple: creativity,
quality and flavor are inextricably
linked, discovery is a never-ending
process and imaginative presentation
is essential.
Bottega Limoncino represents a fresh take on the classic Italian
lemon liqueur that has been a popular after-dinner drink of
choice for generations. Sandro Bottega, dynamic international
ambassador for grappa and grappa-based liqueurs, crafts
Bottega Limoncino with artistry, ingenuity and a modern flair
at family-owned Distilleria Bottega, situated in the heart of
northern Italy’s scenic Veneto region.
To produce Limoncino, Bottega carefully extracts the aromatic
essential oils from the fragrant rinds of perfectly-ripened
Sicilian lemons. The lemon oils are then infused into the
smooth, refined Alexander Grappa resulting in a sweet, fragrant
and refreshing liqueur. The use of grappa in place of the
customary neutral distillate yields a richer, more complex and
flavorful lemon liqueur. Bottega Limoncino is packaged in a
frosted, drop-shaped bottle designed by Sandro and made at
the family’s Venetian hand-blown glass facility.
Production Area: Conegliano, Veneto, Italy
Vinification: Produced from fragrantly
perfumed rinds of fresh Sicilian lemons,
infused in alcohol, leading to an extraction
of essential oils. The addition of the best
quality grappa from the Bottega family
distillery in the Veneto region makes it a
liqueur that is as smooth and unctuous as
it is fragrant.
Bouquet: Clean, inviting aromas.
Taste: Sweet, well-rounded flavor of ripe,
freshly harvested lemons.
Alcohol: 30%
Serving Suggestions: Can be enjoyed neat,
served chilled or on the rocks, cut with tonic
water or in cocktails, as an accompaniment
to fruit desserts or splashed over ice cream
and sorbets; also an excellent digestif, at
the conclusion of a meal.
Sandro Bottega, dynamic international ambassador for grappa
new dimension with Bottega Gianduia, crafted with artistry,
ingenuity and a luxurious flair at family-owned Distilleria Bottega.
To produce Gianduia, Bottega combines a rich, smooth cream
made from the popular soft Piedmontese chocolate Gianduia
with fine grappa from the Alexander range. The use of grappa in
place of the common neutral spirit base results in a more refined
and elegant liqueur that is velvety and deliciously creamy on the
palate, with sumptuous flavors of chocolate and hazelnut.
Bottega Gianduia is packaged in a frosted, drop-shaped bottle
designed by Sandro and made at the family’s Venetian hand-blown
