Relative error The field resulting from the correction of the pluviometric radar data has then been used as an observation field to calculate the relative error of the COSMO-I7 precipitation forecast (cumulative over the 24 hours, first day forecast, 00UTC run) The evaluation of the relative error has been done by dividing the Italian territory into the 102 alert areas used by the Civil Protection Department.
