By the grace of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, we have come to the last series of annual conferences in this Quadrennial. I can say that every
round has gone higher and higher. I know that each of our hosting churches and pastors are working by the leading of the Holy Spirit to give us a
top-notch experience. As Bishop and Supervisor, we want to thank you for your tireless efforts. The Fourth District is blessed to have one of the
greatest councils of Presiding Elders in the AME Church. Let us also thank you for your stellar leadership.
This conference year, we will be focusing on our theme, “An Incredible Innovation.” We will be exploring new, dynamic, and creative methods of
ministry. We are asking not only our pastors, but all of our stakeholder groups to be open to the wisdom of the Holy Spirit to take us on to new
fields of service. One of the new initiatives that the Lord is directing us in the Fourth District to explore is, The “Fit To Lead” ministry. We are
challenging the entire Fourth District to be fit, spiritually, emotionally and physically.
Please join us in praying that the Lord will lead us in each Annual Conference and do in our midst, new and marvelous things. Come “prayed up”
bringing your bibles and expecting God by His spirit, to show up!
