Sat, April 14 th : Garabandal/San Toribio/Garabandal<br />

Today we visit the Monastery of San<strong>to</strong> Toribio de Liébana where we see the venerated<br />

"Lignum Crucis", the largest piece of the True Cross of Christ.<br />

Sun, April 15 th : Garabandal/Salamanca<br />

Morning departure <strong>to</strong> Salamanca. Sit back and enjoy the view as we travel south through<br />

Spain. Upon arrival in Salamanca we will have a panorama of the city.<br />

Mon, April 16 th : Salamanca/Fatima<br />

Morning departure <strong>to</strong> Fatima. Upon arrival in Fatima, we visit the Chapel of Apparitions, the<br />

Chapel of Adoration and the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary where we see the Tombs of<br />

Sister Lucia and Blessed Jacinta and Francisco.<br />

Tue, April 17 th : Fatima/Aljustrel/Valinhos/Nazare<br />

This morning we go <strong>to</strong> Aljustrel where we visit the homes of the children and perhaps meet<br />

some of the relatives. Next <strong>to</strong> Valinhos where Our Lady appeared <strong>to</strong> the children in August<br />

1917 and where the Angel appeared <strong>to</strong> the children in 1916. This afternoon we go <strong>to</strong> Nazare.<br />

On hot days the ancient local fishing art is brought <strong>to</strong> life, with the skipper calling the men down<br />

<strong>to</strong> the sea. The men run down the beach and help push the "candil" - a small fishing boat - down<br />

<strong>to</strong> the sea. In the past this was a daily scene on Nazaré beach. Nowadays the fishermen still<br />

mend their nets on the beach, tell fishing yarns and prepare their equipment for bait fishing.<br />

Wed, April 18 th : Fatima/Lisbon/Fatima<br />

Morning departure <strong>to</strong> Lisbon <strong>to</strong> visit the home, and now Church of St. Anthony of Padua. Of<br />

course, in Portugal, he is known as St. Anthony of Lisbon. After our visit, we have a panorama<br />

of Lisbon. We return <strong>to</strong> Fatima in time for dinner.<br />

Thu, April 19 th : Fatima/USA<br />

Morning transfer <strong>to</strong> Lisbon airport for your return flight <strong>to</strong> the USA.
