Description: 

When installed at the air conditioner coil, the 

UV100RM1 TrueUV Coil Irradiation System has 

been proven to kill up to 99.9% of surface 

micro-organism contaminants such as mold from 

forming on the air conditioning coil and drain pan 

which can lower the efficiency of the cooling system 

and can allow unwanted odors into the home. 

Tests performed in a test duct showed reduction in 

colony-forming aspergillus niger mold spores when 

surface was irradiated at a distance of 18" for three 

hours in still air, using new lamps.

1 - Filtering 

When the air cleaner is cleaning the air, either at 

the homeowner’s command or when the heating 

and cooling system is operating, bars on the display 

will sequence on and off to let them know that it is 

working 

2 - Filter Life Indicator 

This area of the display indicates filter usage. Bars 

will build indicating usage increments of 20%, 

based on how the Air Cleaner Control was set up. 

When all bars are filled and begin to flash, it is time 

to change the filter. 

3 - Active Cleaning 

Four selections are available to choose the Air 

Cleaner Control option that is best for the 

homeowner, beyond the cleaning that occurs 

whenever the equipment is heating or cooling.

Description: 

The ZD series are extruded aluminum parallel blade 

dampers complete with a 24 Volt, spring return motor 

actuator. These dampers are shipped complete and 

ready for installation. The lightweight ZD can be 

installed in any position in any properly sized duct. All 

ZD dampers are rated for duct systems less than 1.0” 

W.C. 

All ZD dampers are typically shipped as Normally 

Open dampers that are powered closed and spring 

returned opened. 

A 24 Volt AC, 50/60 Hz, spring return damper motor, 

powers the ZD. The motor powers the damper closed 

and spring returns the damper open for fail-safe 

operation. Providing power to the damper drives the 

damper closed. Removing power from the motor 

allows the motor to spring back to the open position. 

The 24 Volt, hysteresis, synchronous motor has been 

tested to over 250,000 cycles to provide long life. 

Even replacing the motor is a simple less than one 

(1) minute change by loosening the setscrew holding 

the motor onto the damper. 

The ZD motor also has a simple adjustment for 

setting the damper to a minimum position. A 

minimum position allows for excess by-pass air. To 

set a minimum position, loosen the setscrew, align 

the setscrew to the minimum position label and 

re-tighten.
