Adaptive Engine Maintenance Services
A total relationship,
by your side always

Adaptiveness ® : We’re here to help
With over 90 years of experience as an engine MRO, 11,000
completed shop visits and continuous technological development,
AFI KLM E&M is the ideal partner for effective, reliable
engine maintenance. You know you can count on our outstanding
ability to adapt.
Tailor Made: Every one of our customers’ requirements has
its own, unique service solution, from complex repairs to routine
replacements, spares support, or flight-hour programs.
Quality: High-tech solutions overseen by outstanding technicians
in our state-of-the-art engine shops, for fleets equipped with
GE and CFMI powerplants.
Partnerships: We are by your side at all times to ensure
that you benefit from a fully-integrated portfolio of services, tailored
to all business models. Management of our contracts is scalable
to be better prepared for any change of aircraft or any other new
requirement on your part. We are always attentive to your needs
and ready to talk, so that you retain maximum control over your
operating costs.
“Over 100 customers worldwide
trust our experience.”
Your Customer benefits:
Optimally-priced Excellence
Our absolute priority is 100% compliance with quality
standards and safety. Our constant concern is to curb
customer costs. You won’t have to compromise because
you have chosen the best.
Control: Reduced engine maintenance costs made possible
by our experience and by the development of alternative, targeted,
tailor-made solutions. We will propose a workscope perfectly suited
to your engine problems, based on your own standards, ensuring
faster turnaround times. We will also recommend preventive
maintenance procedures and guaranteed levels of reconditioned
materials. Our powered by the hour programs deliver full engine
care with good cost predictability and risk mitigation.
Targeted: Our mantra is “repair carefully rather than replace
rapidly”. At the earliest possible stage, we put the emphasis on
proactive parts repairs, not on systematic replacement. That
means fewer parts scrapped and proven repair reliability, lower
maintenance costs, and engines that last longer.
Innovation: Our specialists are continually developing
new repair solutions to lower maintenance costs. We have
designed a new engine shop especially for very big engines, and
a VBE capable engine test cell. Our key asset is that we are at the
heart of the supply chain and can offer integrated data management.
On Wing Services: Because AFI KLM E&M is convinced
that cost savings are gained by a combination of on-wing/on-site
operations and shop visits, we have developed on-wing and
on-site solutions that we are eager to share with our customers.
On-wing/on-site operations are designed to fix technical issues
and carry out preventive maintenance, while shop visits restore
engine performance.
Our Network: AFI KLM E&M operates a worldwide network
encompassing all businesses related to engines. It includes
maintenance and overhaul shops, centers of excellence dedicated
to part repairs, companies specialized in parts trading and engine
teardown... This Networkk makes AFI KLM E&M able to offer full
range of services for all customers.
“The best possible maintenance for your engines
for greater aircraft availability.”

Solutions: Your special need, our unique response
In addition to engine repair and overhaul, AFI KLM E&M has an intimate knowledge of airline operating constraints.
We have what you are looking for, from T&M to “power by the hour” support.
Available:
With AFI KLM E&M you benefit from permanent on-site assistance worldwide: a team of specialists will be with you to carry
out rapid, top-quality repairs in the shortest possible time, either on your main base or at outstations. You can also benefit
from our unique expertise in AOG (Aircraft On Ground) situations, guaranteed 24/7, with door-to-door delivery of the parts
you need. We understand your operating requirements: your engines remain operational until the next scheduled shop
visit. You benefit from our advice and assistance for repairs. We provide immediate assistance with spare engines.
Responsive:
Remote on-wing engine monitoring means fewer Unplanned Engine Removals (UERs) and more Time On Wing (TOW).
Our personalized recommendations ensure more accurate monitoring and the most detailed inspections.
Expert:
AFI KLM E&M has considerable experience of GE and CFMI engines, further bolstered by shared experience between
line maintenance and engine shop staff, since AIR FRANCE KLM operates large engine fleets. AFI KLM E&M has developed
an intimate knowledge during engine repair and overhaul and also during engine operations. Our solutions benefit
from technical expertise and processes we developed for the engine fleet we manage today. Our highly-skilled mechanics
benefit from the Company’s analyses and feedback to expand their knowledge. The Group also relies on its privileged
relations with the manufacturer to constantly develop new, more efficient and cost-effective repair processes – the assurance
that customers benefit from top-quality service at prices optimized for their benefit.
