Introduction
Congratulations on purchasing Painfree, it is a truly amazing device.
Painfree uses proven Pulsed Electro Magnetic Field Therapy (PEMF) to naturally
treat pain and increase mobility.
Instructions
Painfree is simple and easy to operate
Painfree is an accumulative therapy, so it is important to remember that most
people will start feeling the benefit between two and six weeks after using the
device. We strongly recommend that you use the device for 90 days to fully
experience and assess the reduction in your pain.
Your step by step guide to using Painfree…
1. Before each treatment it is recommended
that you sit down for 10 minutes or so
and relax
2. Painfree is effective through clothing so
you do not need to remove clothing to
experience its benefits
3. Ensure your Painfree device is charged
(please do not use when it’s being
charged)
4. Place Painfree on or within 12 inches
(30cm) of the area of pain.
5. Painfree’s therapeutic waves radiate in
a spherical pattern around the unit for
12 inches (30cm). It therefore does not
matter which way round the unit is facing.
6. To start treatment, select the correct
setting.
7. The two treatment settings (Hi and Lo)
offer subtle differences in the rate at
which the complex electromagnetic fields
are transmitted. Both treatment settings
will provide effective pain relief, however
it may help to use treatment settings
according to the following circumstances:
• Hi – Default treatment setting for
daytime use
• Lo – Treatments during the evening
or night
8. Press the appropriate button on the
front of the Painfree depending upon
which treatment setting you wish to use.
You will note that a small blue indicator
will begin to flash, telling you that the
treatment has begun.
9. Do not expect to feel any sensation
when using Painfree, the low electro
magnetic field emitted from the device
cannot be detected by the body’s
senses.
10. The device will automatically switch off
after 10 minutes but can be stopped at
any time by holding down the Hi or Lo
button continuously for 3 Seconds.
11. Repeat this treatment three times a day
(there is no limit to how many times you
can use Painfree every day).
Although not essential we recommend that you increase your water intake.
This will help the Painfree flush out any harmful toxins as the body heals. Try an
extra glass or two of water per day!
Those patients prescribed Painfree by a hospital or clinic should follow the
advice given by the doctor or other healthcare professional.
Maintenance
The Painfree device requires no calibration.
To fully charge the Painfree device place
on charge for a minimum of 4 hours. It is
advisable to always fully recharge the battery
in order to extend the cell life.
If you believe that the device is not
functioning correctly, first place the Painfree
unit on charge. If this does not correct the
problem then please contact us for advice on
To clean the device, use a damp cloth and
mild water-based detergent. Do not immerse
the device in any fluids as this may cause
permanent damage.
Neither the battery nor the equipment pose
any disposal risk but should be disposed of in
accordance with local regulations
Precautions
Do not use Painfree during pregnancy.
basis - always have a break between therapy
sessions.
Do not use the Painfree device when it is
charging.
Do not immerse the Painfree in any fluids as
this may cause damage to the device.
The Painfree device is designed to emit
electromagnetic waves which should not
affect any other equipment or apparatus. In
the unlikely event that you do experience
difficulties or interference with other electrical
devices when using Painfree then move away
from the affected equipment.
It is important to remember that pain is a
symptom and a clear diagnosis by a medical
professional is essential.
