Terms and Conditions – New Aeon Card Daily Prize Contest
1. The “Aeon Daily Prize” contest (hereinafter known as “This Contest”) is valid from
28th April 2012 to 10th May 2012 (“hereinafter known as “the contest period”)
both dates inclusive, unless otherwise notified.
2. The contest is open to ALL new and/or existing New AEON Gold
Visa/MasterCard, New AEON Classic Visa/MasterCard , JUSCO Gold/Classic
Visa Cardmember(s) (Principal and Supplementary) (hereinafter known as
“Eligible Cardmember”)
3. AEON Gold Visa/MasterCard, AEON Classic Visa/MasterCard,, CRUIZE
Gold/Classic Visa, MOTORCYCLE Visa Gold, Japan Club Gold, REDHOT
Classic and AEON Prepaid Master Cardmember(s) are excluded in This
Contest.
4. Employees of AEON Credit Service (M) Berhad (AEON Credit) and their
immediate families, its advertising, promotion agencies, suppliers, vendors and
their immediate families so determined by AEON Credit are not permitted to
participate in this Contest
Qualifying Conditions:
5. To be eligible for the contest, Cardmembers (Principal and Supplementary) are
required to spend a minimum of RM100 in a single sales draft/receipt at any
Aeon Co. Stores in Malaysia within the contest period.
6. Each purchase of RM100 on a single receipt entitles to one (1) entry.
7. Entries which originate from split payments are not acceptable.
8. All existing AEON Credit Card members’ accounts must be active and in current
status to be eligible for contest entry.
9. 0% Card Easy Payment (CEP) is not applicable for this contest.
Contest Prizes
10. Daily Prize x 1 winner = RM250 Aeon Gift Voucher.
11. At the time of offering of the RM250 Aeon Gift Voucher, the principal AEON Card
account of the Eligible Cardmembers MUST NOT be delinquent, and/or that their
AEON Card be invalid or cancelled within AEON Credit’s definition, otherwise
they will be disqualified from participating in this contest and from receiving the
Aeon Gift Voucher.

12. Void or cancelled transactions are not entitled to the Aeon Gift Voucher.
Selection of Winners
13. The short-listed potential winners will be contacted by telephone and will be
required to answer one (1) simple question. Only upon correctly answering the
question, the potential winner will be confirmed as a prize winner. AEON Credit
shall make three (3) attempts to contact the potential winner, after which, AEON
Credit reserves the right to select the next eligible potential winner. The Eligible
Participant shall ensure that the phone number in AEON Credit’s records is
active and the Eligible Participant can be contacted on that number during AEON
Credit’s business hours.
14. Any potential winners who fail to answer the question correctly will not receive
the prizes and the next shortlisted potential winner will be called.
15. AEON Credit reserves the right and at its absolute discretion, to
vary/revise/amend the selection mechanism/process as it deems fit at any time
with prior notice. The selection mechanism/process shall be solely determined by
AEON Credit and shall not be questioned on any account whatsoever.
16. The final selection of the winners will be at the discretion of AEON Credit. AEON
Credit’s decisions on all matters relating to the Contest, including the decisions of
the Contest judges in determining the prize winners will be final and binding and
no further correspondence or attempts to dispute such decisions will be
entertained.
General Terms and Conditions
17. The winners shall be responsible to pay any Government taxes or levies,
incidental cost and/or other charges (if any) relating to the Daily Prizes, AEON
Credit shall not be held liable for any tax, incidental cost, or charges arising from
any of the prizes.
18. The prizes are non-transferable to any third party, non-negotiable and nonexchangeable
for credit or kind, in part or in full. Prizes under the Contest do not
include any accessories or items shown in any advertisements and/or
promotional materials which are for photography purposes only.
19. AEON Credit reserves the right and at its absolute discretion to substitute any of
the prizes, whether in whole or part, with that of similar value at any time and/or
to increase or decrease the total number of prizes.

20. All confirmed winners will be notified and confirmed by telephone and/or mail.
The winner’s name will be posted on AEON Credit’s website at
www.aeonmalaysia.com.my.
21. AEON Credit reserves the right to publish or display the names, identification
numbers, photographs or other information on the winners of the Contest for
advertising and publicity purposes. By participating in this Contest, the Eligible
Participant hereby gives his/her consent to and agrees that AEON Credit shall be
at liberty to publish or display his/her name, identification number, photograph or
other information on AEON Credit’s website at www.aeonmalaysia.com.my or
any other medium for notification, advertising and publicity purposes or to the
appointed representatives engaged by AEON Credit in the event that the Eligible
Participant wins any prizes in the Contest.
22. AEON Credit shall not be liable in any way whatsoever, for any event arising
from any acts of God, war, riot, strike, lockout, industrial action, fire, flood,
drought, storm, technical or system failures of any kind, unauthorized human
intervention and electronic or human error in the administration and processing of
the Campaign.
23. By participating in this contest, the eligible participants hereby expressly agree to
be bound by these Terms & Conditions. The decisions of AEON Credit and /or its
judges are final. By participating in this Contest, the eligible participants hereby
give their consent to and authorise AEON Credit to disclose their personal
particulars to the appointed representatives engaged by AEON Credit for the
purposes of this Contest.
24. All prizes are neither transferable nor exchangeable and are subject to the Terms
and Conditions stated herein
25. AEON Credit reserves the absolute right to disqualify any participant, without
assigning any reason whatsoever.
26. AEON Credit reserves the right to substitute any of the Prizes with that of similar
value at any time without prior notice.
27. Where the Terms and Conditions are translated into a language other than the
English Language in the event of any inconsistencies, conflicts or discrepancies
between the terms and conditions set out in the English Language version and
that of the other language(s), the English Language version shall prevail.
28. The terms and conditions herein shall apply to and be read together with the
provisions in the AEON Credit Card Agreement. In the event of any discrepancy
or inconsistency between the terms and conditions herein and those contained in
the AEON Credit Card Agreement, the terms & conditions governing the benefits

of AEON Credit Card herein set out shall prevail in so far as they apply to the
card.
29. These Terms & Conditions shall prevail over any previous terms and conditions
contained in any other promotional or advertising materials.
30. The Terms and Conditions herein shall be governed and construed in the laws of
Malaysia and the winner agrees unconditionally to the non-exclusive jurisdiction
of Malaysia.
