• It would be a good idea <strong>to</strong> write a simple<br />
pl<strong>an</strong> of your site <strong>an</strong>d discuss it with me<br />

• Your website must have:<br />
– At least three pages.<br />
– HTML tables, forms, images <strong>an</strong>d l<strong>in</strong>ks.<br />
– A external cascad<strong>in</strong>g style sheet controll<strong>in</strong>g the<br />
formatt<strong>in</strong>g of the whole site.<br />
– Either <strong>an</strong> embedded style sheet on one of the pages<br />
or <strong>an</strong> <strong>in</strong>l<strong>in</strong>e style on one or more tags.<br />
– A small amount of JavaScript. This c<strong>an</strong> be used <strong>to</strong><br />
check the formatt<strong>in</strong>g of data <strong>in</strong> a form, <strong>to</strong> hide <strong>an</strong><br />
email address from spammers, or for <strong>an</strong>other<br />
purpose, such as <strong>an</strong>imat<strong>in</strong>g <strong>an</strong> image, ch<strong>an</strong>g<strong>in</strong>g a<br />
but<strong>to</strong>n when the mouse hovers over it, etc. etc.<br />

or submit on CD/DVD.<br />
• State your full name <strong>in</strong> the email or write it<br />
on the CD.<br />
• Contact me before this date if you th<strong>in</strong>k<br />
that you are go<strong>in</strong>g <strong>to</strong> h<strong>an</strong>d it <strong>in</strong> late.<br />
Oral Exam<br />
• There will be a 5 m<strong>in</strong>ute oral exam on the<br />
29th November / 6th December.<br />
• You must be able <strong>to</strong> expla<strong>in</strong> the HTML,<br />
CSS <strong>an</strong>d JavaScript <strong>in</strong> your site.<br />
• Note that 1/3 of the f<strong>in</strong>al exam will be on<br />
website design us<strong>in</strong>g HTML, CSS <strong>an</strong>d<br />
JavaScript.<br />
• Practis<strong>in</strong>g HTML, CSS <strong>an</strong>d JavaScript is<br />
the best way <strong>to</strong> learn.<br />
