Let God be my planner!!! 

One Sunday morning at my church, while I was praying and asked God to 

bless my generous outreach team and our October-2006 outreach program we 

were planning to outreach to children living on the garbage dump, the Lord 

spoke to me something different from what I was praying for, He showed me 

the pictures of many students at Rongko School smiling at me. I was very 

surprised to see those pictures smiling at me. In my prayer, I kept asking God 

that “why these pictures appeared to me?" also, I told God that “I am praying 

for the children living on the garbage dump and the outreach program not the 

students at Rongko School.” I was very sure that time I heard the voice of the 

Lord speaking to me in my spirit. He said to me that “Those students are my 

Chap Sothea children. They need me like the children living on the garbage dump too.” 

After, I heard the voice of the Lord speaking to me and showed me the pictures of many students 

smiling at me, it took me 5 months in both praying and seeking God for His direction. Personally, 

when I looked at the pictures of our Generous Outreach Ministry to children living on the garbage 

dump in Phnom Penh, the city of Cambodia, and compared to a new picture of school and students 

that I saw in my prayer, I could tell that they are in two completely different situations in both life and 

living standards. I personally believed that when God called me, He always gives me the desire, faith 

and ability to fulfill His work. Especially, He is there for me in any tough situations I am in. 

Especially, the Lord surely directs me in His plan when I obey Him. 

From the month of January to March, my Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, really touched so 

many hearts of His people to give both finances and services to this Fun Fair Games Outreach Concert 

Ministry at Rongko School in Banteay Meanchey Province. 

When the Lord speaks to us something, He clearly has his own plan and resources for us. We 

only obey and allow Him to guide us and use us in His plan and wait upon His right timing to come. 

When we lay our trust in God with all our hearts, He never forgets his promises for us in the book of 

Matthew 6:33 it says that “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will 

be given to you as well.” And Matthew 28:20 said “……. And surely I am with you always, to the 

very end of the age.” 

Praise and Worship 

Unbelievable …..Children put thousands of their smiles on my Heavenly Father’s face!!! 

My Lord Jesus Christ really loves children so much. The bible says that He put children in His arms, 

put His hands on them and blessed them. It was so amazed thousands of children danced and raised 

their hands to praise and worship the Lord Jesus Christ with their big smiles on their faces. If we take 

a minute of our time to imagine of God’s face, we surely can tell how much joy He has when He saw 

His children praise Him. Especially, they turn their heart to Him with a big joy. 



Sroun Sary’ testimony 

I am very thankful to the Lord Jesus Christ for He has 

chosen me to bring His Love to students at Rongko School. 

I was very joyful to see thousand of students and village 

children come to the fun fair. I saw the grace of God for 

these children is so great. During Fun Fair Outreach 

Ministry, God really gave me a heart of serving and made 

me so bold in leading worship. I was very touched when I 

saw many children danced with their happy faces and they 

lifted up their hands to worship my Lord Jesus Christ. And, 

children have received so much joy for God in their hearts. 

From this mission trip, I have received so much encouragement from the Lord in serving in the 

ministry. In my prayers, I hope God will continue to use my team to bring His Salvation to students 

and children at Rongko Village. 

Chhorn Somnang’s testimony 

I am so thankful to the Lord Jesus Christ for He gave me a chance to serve 

in Outreach Ministry at Rongko Village. While, I was there, I felt that God 

gave me so much joy and peace in my heart. I realized that God has 

brought me into His plan. I felt very touch when I saw them worship the 

Lord Jesus Christ. Also, I saw many hands raised up in the air to receive 

God’s salvation. I was one of the dancers in dance group. Besides dance, I 

was chosen to be a pharmacist. Even though, I am not a nurse or doctor, 

but God used me to take care of my team. While we were there, some of us 

got headache, stomachache, fiver and body pain. I thank God for He gave 

me wisdom to give the right medicines to my team and He healed them. In the future I want to be a 

doctor. I believed that God will use me to bring hope to the patients. In my prayers, I believed that 

God will continue to use our team to bring His Love and Hope to students and Rongko Villagers. 

Let our dances tell the story of Jesus Christ!!!! 

Kim Sophal’s testimony 

I am very thankful to the Lord Jesus Christ for He brought me and my sister to live in 

the orphanage and both of us can continue our study in school after our mom recently 

passed away. I slowly joined devotion and study bible with other orphans. I began to 

know who Jesus is to my life. He is my Heavenly Father. He gave me new Love and 

He holds my future. While I was attending youth service in my church, I heard team 

leader shared about Garbage Dump and Fun Fair Outreach Ministry, I felt very touch 

by many testimonies. Then, I decided to join with the team. I was one of the dancers. 

During this mission trip, I found out that whenever we prayed and said the Lord’s Prayer, God’s 

miracles really took place through our prayers like He stopped the rain and turned the black sky to a 

bright sky. I thank God for those miracles. I believed that Jesus is alive. He hears our prayers. He is a 

true God and the Savior of my life!!! 


Games 


Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, Rejoice! (Philippians 4:4) 

Jesus alone is the real Joy, Hope and Peace giver to His children in Rongko Village. He has given 

them so much joy during the Fun Fair Games Outreach Concert Ministry. This is our first outreach to 

Rongko Villagers. Unforgettable……… the smile on those students, Village children and youth’s 

faces that came across our eyes those days. Every time when we saw those people smiled and enjoyed 

playing games with us, we always thank our Lord Jesus Christ in our hearts for He is the real joy giver 

to them. 

Drama 

Let our dramas tell the story of our Lord Jesus Christ!!! 

Isaiah 55:8 said “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways.” 

The Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, has His own amazing way to bring back His children to Him. 

Praise the Lord for He has done excellent things and His Grace and Mercy are always with His 

children. The drama of “Jesus Christ is the owner of Heaven.” showed by a group of 8 teachers, 

God really used their simple drama that played from their own faith for Christ to tell their students 

about God’s salvation. It was the most effective drama. Through this drama, God’s love really took 

place in the hearts of many children and many of them gave their lives to Jesus. Praise the Lord! 

For many are invited. But few are chosen. (Matthew 22:14) 

During Fun Fair Games Outreach Concert Ministry, God’s messages really spoke so much through 

dramas. Every drama our team played, they showed so much about God’s Love and His Salvation. 

Especially, Jesus Christ alone can give us an Eternal Life. We were so much thankful to the Lord Jesus 

for the dramas we played. Through those dramas we saw many hands raised up in the air to receive 

God’s salvation and gave their lives to Jesus. Praise the Lord for He is a wonderful planner! 



Phon Sitha’s Testimony 

I thank God for He gave me a wonderful gift of leading drama. I am very joyful 

when I saw children paid so much attention on our dramas that show a lot about 

the Love of Jesus Christ for His children. I believed every action in the drama that 

we showed children will remember about God’s love in their hearts. Because, 

Jesus alone can give them eternal life and set them free from their sins. In my 

prayer, I will ask God to continue to open door for our team to bring His Love to 

His children at Rongko Village. 

Rom Bunthorn’s Testimony 

I was very joyful to see many students, village children and youths opened their 

hearts to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. I thank God for my team. 

They worked very hard for this Fun Fair Games Outreach Concert Ministry to 

bring back the Glory to the Lord Jesus Christ. During our mission trip to Rongko, 

I saw that God brought us in one unity and one heart even our teams came from 

different churches, orphanages and school. Especially, while, we suddenly saw 

the bright sky turned black. Everybody came together behind the stage and 

prayed. We kept praying and praying, then, the Lord turned a black sky to a 

bright sky. God is so God. Surely, He hears our payers and He is with us always. 

Children Ministry 

Jesus loves the little children! 

Our team was so much thankful to our Lord Jesus Christ for He called many children through us. He loves 

those children very much. He opened door for our team to bring His good news to His children. Our team was 

so amazed at what the Lord has done, when we saw children were very open to worship the Lord and dance 

with us. Especially, during story time, they really paid so much attention on bible stories. The story of 

“Creation” was the most effective one. After the team told story of “Creation” to those children, they began to 

know that God is the creator and they are sinners. And Jesus alone can set them free from their sins. When the 

team asked those children that “Does anybody wants to be freed from sin?” then, most of them raised hand to 

receive God’s salvations. 

Rous Seanghou’s testimony 

“………….With men it is impossible, but not with God, for with God all 

things are possible.” Mark 10:27 

I thank my Jesus for using me to minister to small children. This is my first 

wonderful experience to be a teacher to small children. First, when I saw many 

children in the classroom, I was very nervous. But when I think about the story of 

“Jesus blessed the little children” I felt that Jesus encouraged me a lot through this 

scripture. He helped me to feel relax. So, I can minister to them. I really had a 

good time playing with those children. I love them so much. In my prayer, I hope 

to be their teacher and see them again. 



Krouch Sophea’s testimony 

Jesus is my true friend! 

I became a Christian in early year 2006. I began to love the Lord and 

prayed in my quiet time. I gave thank to the Lord for saving me from 

all the bad things I had gone through in my life like taking drug, 

drunk alcohol, became theft, disobedience to my parents and leaved 

home. Everyday, when I began to pray to God, I found out that Jesus 

is my true friend. Last year, in September-2006, I got a chance to join 

children camp with orphans and staffs from NHO organization to the 

beach. I was one of the volunteers in beach games program with a youth group from my church. 

During children camp, every morning, we had bible study with Ps. Kang from Church of Singapore 

Bukit Timah. He taught us on a lesson of “Heart of the Father” It reminded me a lot about my mom 

whom I never forgive because she lost all our family’s money which has been invested in the business. 

She made our family became very poor. Especially, I can not continue my study to university. That 

situation turned me to involve in many bad things I had gone through in my passed life. After Ps. 

Kang finished his teaching, he prayed for me. Through his prayer, God really touched my heart and 

took away my anger. I believed that God gave me new love for my mom. Especially, without Jesus I 

may not have a chance to forgive my mom or continue to live life with bad things I had gone through, 

or maybe today I am in jail, or I was killed by someone. But with Jesus, He gave me new life. 

Evangelism 

We could see God’s miracle took place in our ministries, unless we obey 

give our best service to Him. Especially, if, we want be a successor in 

the ministry, we must listen carefully to what God is about to tell us and 

directs us in His plan. No matter how hard we try, or any difficulties we 

are facing with, or any tough situations we are in, Jesus is there for us. 

Jesus is the owner of any results of any ministries we are serving Him. 

He is the planner and the finisher. 

Every time before evangelist team goes in the really mission field, we 

usually talked about many strategies how to outreach to unbelievers, 

Sroun Vanna 

how to give out booklets, especially, try to get to know the situations of the outreach place and people. 

When I look at the plans that my evangelist team had made to outreach to students (youths) at Rongko 

School, the Lord Jesus really taught our team a lot. He showed us that our plans were opposite form 

His plans. Especially, everything was completely changed on the last minute on fun fair outreach’s 

days. The real plan for Evangelist team is to focus on outreach to the youths. But during the concert 

we saw children came more than youths. To see what was happening during that event, I believe that 

God was teaching our evangelist team to be obedience, listen carefully and give our best service to 

Him. In my prayer, I hope to come back to Rongko School to do outreach to students (youths) again. 

The power of the Lord’s prayers 

The hold Generous Outreach Team kneeled down and said the 

Lord’s prayers together to give thank to the Lord for He kept our 

every program in His control. He is our wonderful protector. Also, 

He is a great planner. He helped us to open our eyes to focus on 

seeking His face. He guided us from one step to another. He kept 

building our trust in Him. He opened our ears to listen carefully to 

what he is about to tell us. Especially, He used every part of our 

bodies to testify that He is the real creator of the heaven and earth. 

Especially, the real Joy, Peach and Hope Giver, He called His children through us. They had accepted 

and turned their hearts to Jesus and made the Heavenly Father so joyful with a big happy face.
