It may connect to another readerand serve as a controller. <strong>DG</strong>-<strong>600E</strong> enables the beeper to gooff whenever the keypad is pressed. A tamper switch is used toprotect the reader from external damage by linking the relay tothe alarming system. This model communicates in Wiegandprotocol and has a set of 600 proximity cards set to 26-bitor44-bit. It takes the reader 0.5 seconds at most to read aproximity card or 5-digit PIN code. The built-in non-volatilememory preserves the PINs for as long as 10 years.
