Beginning with the September 2010newsletter, CSIFT changed from a “paperdriven” newsletter to an eNewsletter.There are many benefits to having aneNewsletter managed by the ConstantContact tool.Newsletters are more likely to get throughfirewalls as there are no large attachments.There is no restriction on length of thenewsletter and we can track who receivesit and whose email system blocked it.Knowledge CenterWe now have the ability to not justsave and store the newsletters, but wealso save and store the individualarticles so that members can searchfor an article by topic or author.These articles are stored in theKnowledge Center.Because the articles are each storedas separate documents (rather thanpdf’d into one newsletter) they can bepart of a “search.”So for example, they become part ofthe social media world and people can“Google” a topic and find us that way.Also, members can search using thesearch feature on the header of eachof our web pages to find informationthey are searching for.The CSIFT search feature alsosearches New Search the IFT Feature! website.Just click on the folder of the month you’re interested in and you will see all the articles for that month. In the future we may alsosave the presentations from the dinner meetings. This is also where we would post Innovation NOW! Forum presentations.PO Box 926 207 W.
