<strong>Smoke</strong>-<strong>Free</strong> <strong>Workplace</strong> <strong>Policy</strong><strong>Policy</strong> effective date: 08/30/2002Last update: 10/10/05If you have questions call HR Connections at 1-877-81-ASK HR (877-812-7547) or918-661-5381.____________________________________________________________________________This policy supports the commitment of the Company to maintain a safe and healthy workenvironment and comply with applicable laws.Smoking is prohibited in all enclosed or confined areas (inclusive of other areas specificallydesignated as non-smoking by site management) in all company-owned or leased vehicles,facilities and office buildings in the U.S.<strong>Smoke</strong> breaks during working hours are determined by supervisors in accord with any local sitepractices.Exceptions to this policy may be made in special cases and only upon approval bymanagement; however, work/safety rules, safety regulations, or applicable laws, regulations orordinances which are more restrictive will take precedence over the policy and any exception.Violations of this policy can result in disciplinary action.The policy applies to all employees, contractors, vendors, guests and other individuals in anyprohibited area.____________________________________________________________________________The Company establishes plans, policies and programs appropriate to the businessneeds and requirements of its various operations and organizations.
