Said request for fulfillment must includecomplete keying instructions for the order to be acknowledgedwith an estimated delivery date. Failure to properly requestfulfillment of the order within twelve (12) months of the orderdate will make the order void and nonrefundable.SPECIAL ORDERS: Any modification to a standard productconfiguration is considered a speci<strong>al</strong> order. No credits will beissued for returned speci<strong>al</strong> orders unless authorized by CustomerService (800) 711-6814.PHONE ORDERS: Accuracy of phone orders will be determinedby receipt of a written confirmation or acceptance of ouracknowledgment.INCOMPLETE ORDERS: An incomplete order is one that is notfully specified according to the appropriate nomenclaturerequired for that product. Any incomplete order will not beentered and will be referred to the appropriate Stanley S<strong>al</strong>esRepresentative for resolution.HARDWARE SCHEDULES: A hardware schedule is a <strong>list</strong>ing of<strong>al</strong>l builders hardware items related to a particular constructionjob. It is approved by the architect, then submitted to de<strong>al</strong>ers,bidders, and contractors. An acceptable hardware scheduleof Stanley products is one in which the materi<strong>al</strong> ordered iscompatible for inst<strong>al</strong>lation as required in the schedule.SAMPLES: Please contact your loc<strong>al</strong> Stanley S<strong>al</strong>esRepresentative for sample requests.SPLIT FINISHES: When ordering l<strong>ocks</strong>ets with split finish(outside finish different from inside), specify the outside finishfirst, then the inside finish. Specify the hand of the door so theproper face and strike plate finish may be supplied; otherwise,the finish will be supplied for doors opening inward.CHANGES/CANCELLATIONS: After orders are entered formanufacturing, changes or cancellations cannot be acceptedwithout our permission, and may be subject to a change orcancellation charge equiv<strong>al</strong>ent to 30% of the purchased <strong>price</strong>.MINIMUM CHARGE: The expense of handling an ordernecessitates a minimum charge of $50.00 net per invoice.TERMS: 2% 15, Net Thirty (30) days. Stanley reserves the right toadd a service charge to <strong>al</strong>l invoices past due. Internation<strong>al</strong> s<strong>al</strong>esare accepted with a confirmed irrevocable letter of credit.DELIVERY: We endeavor to make prompt shipment of <strong>al</strong>l orders,but we sh<strong>al</strong>l not be held responsible for any loss or damageresulting from delay in filling orders , including any direct orconsequenti<strong>al</strong> loss or damages, resulting from an inability ordelay in meeting shipping schedules.SHIPPING/FREIGHT ALLOWANCES: All shipments are F.O.B.factory via carrier Stanley selects. Goods in transit are at the riskof the buyer. Single or combined shipments including Stanley l<strong>ocks</strong>ets, exit devices, and door closers will be considered for freefreight with orders at or above $6,000 net (product combinationmust be on same purchase order). S<strong>al</strong>es Policies (continued)CONSTRUCTION CORES: All keyed l<strong>ocks</strong> shipped from Stanleyfor new construction projects in which cores have been orderedwill receive disposable black plastic (non-keyed) constructioncores at no addition<strong>al</strong> charge. Disposable black plastic coresfor less-core orders may be purchased separately for $1.50 net.Brass (keyed-<strong>al</strong>ike) construction cores may be purchased for anet <strong>price</strong> of $8.00 each. No further discount will be applied. Brassconstruction cores sh<strong>al</strong>l be 7-pin, A keyway, and have a GREENface. Brass construction cores are shipped with one operatingkey per ten (10) cores and one control key per twenty (20) cores;addition<strong>al</strong> keys may be purchased for $4.40 <strong>list</strong>. Constructioncores do not have the degree of security that the owner’spermanent masterkeyed cores provide. Construction cores areused for controlling access to premises during construction andARE NOT INTENDED FOR USE WHEN PREMISES ARE OCCUPIEDOR FURNISHED IN ANY MANNER. Stanley isnot responsible for collection or return of construction cores.MASTERKEYING: Stanley Masterkey Policies and Services canbe found at www.<strong>best</strong>access.com.EXPORT REGULATIONS: Purchaser agrees to conform to, andabide by, the export laws and regulations of the United States,including, but not limited to, the Export Administration Act of1979 as amended and its implementing regulations. Diversioncontrary to US laws and regulations is prohibited.CLAIMS: All claims due to errors or defects must be submitted,in writing, within thirty (30) days after receipt of goods. WhenStanley is responsible, adjustments will be made.PROPER INSTALLATION: Current inst<strong>al</strong>lation instructions forany Stanley product should be carefully followed for properoperation of the inst<strong>al</strong>led unit. If improperly inst<strong>al</strong>led, m<strong>al</strong>functionof the unit may result.BACK CHARGES: Stanley is not responsible for, does notauthorize, and will not accept any back charges for the cost ofany labor or materi<strong>al</strong> incurred by anyone other than Stanley forany repair, service, inst<strong>al</strong>lation or replacement unless approvedwith Stanley’s prior written consent.RETURNED GOODS: Customer has up to ninety (90) days fromdate of invoice to return goods, except for warranty returns.Stanley Customer Service MUST authorize <strong>al</strong>l returns. Allmateri<strong>al</strong>s returned to Stanley, regardless of the reason, musthave a correct Return Goods Authorization (RGA) numberapplied to the outside of the shipping carton. All goods mustbe returned in origin<strong>al</strong> packaging and be in res<strong>al</strong>able conditionexcept for warranty returns. Transportation charges of returnedgoods must be prepaid by the customer. A re-stocking chargeof 30% of the purchase <strong>price</strong> will be applied to the customer’saccount except for warranty returns. All goods must be returnedwithin sixty (60) days of RGA issue date. Product not returnedin s<strong>al</strong>eable condition or after sixty (60) days of the RGA numberissue date is subject to dispos<strong>al</strong> by Stanley with no credit issued.Use fax number 888-214-1918 for returned goods authorizationonly.PRODUCT WARRANTY Upon return of a defective product,Stanley sh<strong>al</strong>l either replace the product or refund thepurchase <strong>price</strong>, at our discretion, in accordance with ourstandard warranty. Stanley is not responsible for incident<strong>al</strong> orconsequenti<strong>al</strong> damages. Some states do not <strong>al</strong>low the exclusionof limitation of incident<strong>al</strong> or consequenti<strong>al</strong> damages, so theabove exclusion may not apply to you.
