Training and further education<br />

The market for renewable energies is undergoing dramatic developments. To<br />

prepare our employees for steadily growing challenges, we offer a comprehensive<br />

training programme in the form of our own <strong>Conergy</strong> Academy. We have<br />

launched numerous continuing education programmes to prepare salaried<br />

and hourly-paid personnel alike for the requirements of our globally growing<br />

technology <strong>Group</strong>. Successful work essentially requires commitment, experience<br />

and knowledge. Learning in the workplace and exchanging experiences<br />

with colleagues and managers is both an effective and obvious way to expand<br />

knowledge. The <strong>Conergy</strong> Academy thus places its emphasis on product training,<br />

integration events, training and coaching, recognition and evaluation of<br />

potential, as well as on the development centre. <strong>Conergy</strong> is thus well on the<br />

way to creating a sufficient pool of specialists in the as-of-yet underdeveloped<br />

labour market for the renewables industry. Training youths is yet another important<br />

approach.<br />

Compensation system<br />

To successfully manage <strong>Conergy</strong>’s strong growth, the objectives of the organisation<br />

and their attainment have been communicated and tracked in real-time<br />

by means of a Balanced Scorecard (BSC) for the last two years. The company’s<br />

strategic goals were presented transparently to all employees and applied<br />

to the respective areas. Our goal-setting and bonus system is based on this<br />

approach and gives every employee the opportunity to contribute to the attainment<br />

of our strategic goals and to benefit from them personally too. Moreover,<br />

a portion of the bonus is linked to the company’s result, giving all employees an<br />

additional opportunity to profit from the <strong>Group</strong>’s success.<br />
