Especially on the background of the straightforward pattern of Std. XII, the studies ofengineering appear to be particularly tough. Although the top students of Std. XII go forengineering, the overall percentage of F.E. result is only about 30 % or even less. Many goodstudents have to undergo the painful mortification of the ATKT, if not failure. However thepercentage of successful candidates at Vidyalankar has always been above 90 %. Please gothrough our Results Brochure for our past Results.Note: (Refer Time table Pg. 4, 5 and 6)1) Each batch is assigned a unique batch code. Please ensure that there is no discrepancy in the batch you have chosenand the batch code printed on your receipt. Batch Code for <strong>Sem</strong>. II (wherever applicable) will be automatically generated bythe computer.2) The various batches for Maths will be known as M I (7011231), M I (7011241), etc. Similarly for the other subjects.A student cannot select clashing batches. e.g. a student cannot take M I (7011251) and Mech.(7031251) ; he/she may takeM I (7011251) and for Mechanics, he/she should select any batch except 7031251.3) All the subjects will be completely covered well before the next University examination which is likely to be held in Nov. 2014.4) There is no hard and fast rule about the choice of the batches. Any one will be allowed to change the batch to any other(available) batch at later stage, if needed (of course, only after written permission from our office). Change of subject will notndbe permitted under any circumstances. Same timetable will be followed in the 2 Term.5) A student may attend different subjects at our different centres (Dadar, Andheri, Borivali, Ghatkopar, Thane, Dombivli,Chembur, Vashi, Nerul, Panvel) according to his / her convenience. Choice of centers across Mumbai ensures that studentscan opt for a centre that is convenient for them to access. There is acomprehensive support system in place and all students are given thesame opportunities to excel. The teaching methodology and pedagogy of Vidyalankar is miles aheadof what the smaller players offer. Vishwas Deshpande, ManagingDirector, Vidyalankar Group, points out, “Test exams are conductedfrequently. Model solutions are given immediately after the tests areconducted. Corrected test papers are distributed in the next lecture tomake it convenient for students to assess their own answers. Parentsare regularly updated on the student’s attendance and marks.”Why risk the future of your engineering aspirants by opting for privatetuitions with limited resources? They were therefore, unable to move on to the second year. These included many top scorers at the previous year's class XII examsas well. The class XII toppers are just not ready to handle the sheer pace of theFirst Year Engineering course. It is only after college begins that thesestudents realise - too late in the day - that the quantum of curriculumand its complexities have gone up sharply and the quality of teachingfaculty is just not up to the mark. Those who do make the transition successfully follow a simpleformula: Advance effort that gives them a head start and training withthose who have the experience and expertise to help them scale uptheir performance to the higher level required. This innovative solution is being provided by Vidyalankar, which hasbeen nurturing engineering aspirants for more than 50 years. Theinstitution's well set academic infrastructure, in-depth research andsenior faculty steers engineering aspirants through the first yearhurdles and enables them to clear the exams.Riddhi Kale, points out that Vidyalankar opens your eyes to the vasttasks that lie ahead for clearing First Year Engineering. “Till thenstudents have no idea how complicated and tough the course is.Attending the vacation and regular batches helped us revise and retainthe knowledge provided, which was immensely useful during theexams.”U T U R E , N O WT H E FTECHNOLOGY TALKSwww.educationtimes.comMUMBAI EDITIONVidyalankar understands the importance of creating technically soundengineers and has a time-tested association with engineering education forthe last fifty years. It has been instrumental in shaping the careers of studentsby instilling sound knowledge of engineering concepts.Vidyalankar students feel totally self-assured throughout theirfour years of study and face all exams with a high degree of confidence ascompared to their peers. At Vidyalankar, along with clarity in explanation of concepts andpractice work, students are given intensive training in their approach.Systematically tackling complex topics and simplifying them for greaterassimilation, has become a Vidyalankar speciality.Keeping in mind that students and their parents are beneficiaries,a lot of attention is given to detail. Students are always the numberone priority Individual guidance is provided to every student till the day ofexam. To assess a student's level of assimilation of each topic, tests areconducted periodically. Weekly tests followed by distribution of modelsolutions ensure that students can check their mistakes and correct them.Parents are kept informed about their child's progress by informingthem about test results.
