Glunz & Jensen Quartz plate processors lead the field
in plate processing compatibility. Well-proven
technology ensures reliable and trouble-free
processing. Simple and trusted hardware is used in
the entire processor range. The Quartz processors
can be upgraded to suit all conventional and
innovative plate technologies, and will keep up with
all new plate technologies.
The development system can be quickly reconfigured
at customer site, and it is even possible to convert
to inline configuration for S/N and D/N plates. (Single
or double sided negative). The innovative design
with its many unique features, combined with quality,
complies to stringent safety standards of Europe and
USA to ensure the approval of the most discerning
plate maker. The processor is also approved for use
by leading plate manufacturers.
Three developing concepts are available: An
immersion type (NP) which minimizes oxidation
and foaming, is ideal for positive and most single
sided negative working plates. Furthermore an in-line
system (SN) which is suitable for all single sided
negative plates and an in-line system (DN) which
incorporates an automatic reverse on the scrub
rollers to ensure there is no plate interference on
double-sided negative plates.
