DescriptionSeries DVPA−1−10... cartridges are2−stage pressure relief valves with apositive seat pilot stage and spool−type main stage. When the pilot stageis active (main stage relieving), pilot oilis internally drained to port B. Any pressurein port B is additive to the springpressure setting, therefore port Bshould preferably be connected totank. Thoroughly oil or grease externalseals before inserting the cartridge in aDC cavity. The cartridge can be tightenedwith a 27 A/F OE spanner (notethe recommended tightening torque).Form tools are available for sale or hire,should customers wish to machine cavitiesin their own control blocks. TheBUCHER line− and manifold−mountingbody type DC−12 can be used wherethe application requires a line mountingvalve.
