The ability to transfer deck loadingonto temporary supports while the deckremains open to traffic has tremendousfinancial advantages and is always aprimary consideration when consideringthe viability of a project. Arbil makes thispossible with the marrying of twodisciplines: precision control of hydraulicpumps; and computerised monitoring ofjack loading and movement, both verticallyand horizontally.The on-screen graphical display iscustomised to provide whateverinformation is required during the jackingprocess, all in instantly recognisable formwith the option of hard copy printout ofeach phase of the operation.Load TestingDepending upon the nature of the requiredtest, the necessary load or force can be appliedeither hydraulically via calibrated jacking setsor with test weights via calibrated tensile loadcells. Hundreds of tons of test weights areavailable including hand weights, slab weightsand concrete blocks. We can also providebeams and carrying cradles, if required, toassist with handling.Our fleet also includes water bags which are aversatile means of testing where the use ofnormal solid weights is difficult.(Speak to our Hire Team for furtherinformation.)Calibration of Tensile andCompression Test EquipmentProving rings and load cells which aretraceable to NPL standards, are utilised whenour engineers attend site to calibrate ourcustomers’ testing machines and tensile testequipment.Statutory Examinationsof Lifting EquipmentProvided as an additional service to back upour extensive sales of loose lifting tackle andlifting machines, our engineers are availableto carry out your 6 monthly and annualinspections.This service which is available either on-siteor in-house complies with the requirementsof L.O.L.E.R.
