<strong>Final</strong> <strong>Exam</strong>ination <strong>Information</strong>:• Students may not miss any exam for any reason that is undocumented. Any undocumented absencewill be considered an unexcused absence and the student will not be permitted to make-up the exam.• Students that have an excused absence(s) for exams (2,3,4,5, and 6) will have make up exams onThursday, June 16 th and Friday, June 17 th from 12:15 p.m. – 2:15 p.m.. There will be NO studenttransportation provided for make up exams. Students that have an excused absence(s) for exams1,7,8, and 9) will have make up exams on Friday, June 24 th and Monday, June 27 th from 9:00 a.m. -<strong>11</strong>:00 a.m. Again, there will be NO student transportation provided.• Lunch will not be served on Monday, June 13 th – Friday, June 17 th (12:00 dismissal).• Snacks will be sold in the morning before the exam session on each day.• Students who report late to school will not be admitted to their exam session which may result in nottaking the exam.• All students are required to attend school during final exams. If a student is not scheduled for anexamination, they are to report to the Auditorium.• If you expect to sign-out early after the 1 st exam session, you must report to Homeroom/1 st period forattendance. A note must be provided to the Main Office and you must sign-out in the New Cafeteria.This may count as an unexcused absence since the student did not complete the full 4 hours requiredby our attendance policy.• There will be no 4:15 and 6:00 late buses.• All textbooks must be returned during each exam session to your teacher to avoid being placed on thefines list.• Please be proactive. If you have questions, please contact your son’s/daughter’s Assistant Principal.Graduation Rehearsal: Friday, June 17, 20<strong>11</strong>• Report to the Commons at 12:15. Your attendance at Graduation rehearsal is mandatory.• Pizza and refreshments will be served followed by Graduation practice in the Gymnasium.• Practice will take place from 12:15 – 2:30 – NO early dismissals will be granted.• During Graduation practice, caps and gowns will be issued to the graduates. It is worn over the clothingduring the ceremony. Please do not change or alter these items in any way.• All fines and/or obligations must be settled by the end of the day by June 17, 20<strong>11</strong>. Failure to take careof fines will result in the withholding of the student’s diploma and transcript until the obligation has beensettled. All fines must be paid by cash, money order, or credit card (Visa or Master Card) – seepage 3.Graduation Exercises: June 20, 20<strong>11</strong>• Seniors MUST ARRIVE at the Sun National Bank Center at 2:00 PM and enter the arena at Gate C.• The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 p.m. and will last approximately 2 hours.• Seniors must be dressed according to the guidelines below. Those who are not attired according to therequirements will not be allowed to participate in the graduation exercises.• Upon arrival at the Sun National Bank Center, graduates and their guests should park in Lot #1; therewill be no charge for parking.• Directions and map to the Sun National Bank Center are attached. Please allow 90 minutes travel time.• Graduates will not be permitted to enter the Sun National Bank Center with any items including purses,cameras, cell phones, flower bouquets and the like. (Please leave these items in your car – give to yourparents/guardians.)• Guests may use Sections 104 through <strong>11</strong>7 for seating to view the ceremony. Graduates should informtheir guests of the side of the arena in which they will be sitting.• Guests will not be permitted to enter the arena floor at any time for any reason. This includes during therecessional as the graduates exit after the ceremony.• Seating for guests with special needs will be available on the Concourse Level in Sections 106, 107,<strong>11</strong>1, <strong>11</strong>3, and <strong>11</strong>7. Please email Mary Nastus (mnastus@nbtschools.org) with any special needs soarrangements may be coordinated.• The Graduation ceremony will be professionally videotaped and an order form is enclosed.• Graduation is a dignified ceremony that allows the school community to celebrate the accomplishmentsof our seniors. Guests are reminded that signs, balloons, banners, air horns, etc., are not permitted inthe Sun National Bank Center. We respectfully request that there be no use of cell phones.
