EPHRAIM RADNEREFFECTIVESCRIPTURAL EN-GAGEMENT WITH21st CENTURY CUL-TUREEphraim Radner is Pr<strong>of</strong>fessor <strong>of</strong> Historical Theologyat Wycliffe <strong>College</strong> in Toronto. Prior tothis Dr. Radner, was rector <strong>of</strong> the EpiscopalChurch <strong>of</strong> the Ascension, Pueblo, Colorado, Hisrange <strong>of</strong> ministerial experience includes Burundi,where he worked as a missionary, Haiti,inner-city Cleveland, and Connecticut. He hastaught at seminaries in Connecticut and Colorado.In the <strong>Anglican</strong> Communion context he isa member <strong>of</strong> the Covenant Design Group. He isa violinist, hiker, and traveler. He is married tothe Rev. Annette Brownlee, and they are theparents <strong>of</strong> Hannah and Isaac.GREG PAULRECEIVING THE-GIFTS OF THEPOOR AND EX-CLUDEDGreg Paul, is the founder and Director <strong>of</strong> SanctuaryMinistries <strong>of</strong> Toronto. For the pasttwenty-five years, Sanctuary has made it apriority to welcome and care for some <strong>of</strong> themost hurting and excluded people in the Community.Greg's role includes pastoral care,counseling and leadership, organizational partnerships,fundraising, and representing Sanctuaryto the <strong>pub</strong>lic. His passionate commitmentto the people on the street grew out <strong>of</strong> his fascinationwith the city and a strong interest in theissues <strong>of</strong> the street.Greg has participated in the building <strong>of</strong> a communityin which people who are wealthy andpeople who are poor live, work and share theirexperiences and resources on a daily basis.Greg is the father <strong>of</strong> four children and the leadvocalist and keyboardist for Red Rain, theband that planted the seed for Sanctuary. Hehas authored many books including: "God inthe Alley: Being and Seeing Jesus in a BrokenWorld", "The Twenty Piece Shuffle: Why thePoor and the Rich Need Each Other" and “CloseEnough to Hear God Breathe.”SCOTT CRAWFORD— ENGAGING THECOMMUNITYScott Crawford is President <strong>of</strong> ONE CHANGEONE Change is a group working to improvethe quality <strong>of</strong> life in the Old North End <strong>of</strong>Saint John New Brunswick. The group is comprised<strong>of</strong> residents, youth, building owners,school <strong>of</strong>ficials, our provincial MLA, and city<strong>of</strong>ficials. Activities include: community cleanups,specials guests and educational speakers,wellness activities and environmental improvements.Life skills are integrated intomost activities as well. Scott has led seminarsin the United States and also in Atlantic Canada.He was awarded the 2011 Peace Medal bythe YMCA for his Community work.
