.TH E APPROPRIATION ACT, 1954No. 5 OF 1954An Act to authotise payment and appropriarion of certainfurther sums from and out of the .Consolidated Fundof India for the service of the financial year 1953-54., _ [ 18th March, 1954 1*BE it enacted by Parliament as follows:-1. Short title.-This Act may be called the Appropriation Act, !1954. I2. Issue of Pes. 83,89,12,000 out of ~onsolidated Fund of India forthe year 1953-54.-From and out of the Consolidated Fund o&Indiathere may be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specifiedin column 3 of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate to the sumof eighty-three crores, eighty-nine lakhs and twelve thousandrupees towards defraying the several charges which will come incourse of payment during the financial year 1953-54, in respect of thoservices specified in column 2 of the Schedule.3.
