This course will addresstopics such as survival, isolation, depression, danger signs, and myth vs. reality of stress,perceptual distortions and moment of resolve.INSTRUCTORS: Nancy Bohl, Pd. D. and J.D. Harris, Psy. D. of the <strong>Counseling</strong> <strong>Team</strong>PREREQUISITE: Been involved in a police shooting / critical incident.PRESENTATION DATES & HOURS: This is a 16-hour course that will be presented on theabove stated dates. Arrive no later than 1600 hours on the first day for check-in. Dinner willbe served at 1800hrs, followed by a social hour the first night.. Room check out will beWednesday the last day of the course by noon, or an additional departure fee will be billed toagency.LOCATION: This course will be presented at UCLA Conference Center in Lake Arrowhead.CERTIFICATION & FEES: POST Plan IV **POST will only reimburse up to $124.00 perday, which includes lodging and meals**. Rooms are twobedrooms/two baths and three full meals a day are provided in the dining room.If single occupancy is requested, there is an additional fee of $60 per person. In fact, we're less than two hours from mostSouthern California areas. <strong>The</strong> drive up the mountain is again mostly freeway and mostly spectacular!See map.Please Note: <strong>The</strong>re is a short detour on Highway 18 from the Crestline turn-off.
