The factory styling has been muchimproved with the addition of a full Vertex 'T & E' FRP bodylit, including replacement front andrear bumpers along with side skirts. The Vertex kit will have cost over £1500 here in Japan. Acostly but beautiful improvement. A factory option rear spoiler is also fitted. The wheels areunmarked 17" Forged Lightweight Work Emotion CR Alloys in Bronze, contrasting well with theGunmetal body. 4 Tyres are required, and will be replaced upto a value of £350. If specific tyresare desired, these can be fitted at additional cost over this sum. Exterior styling is finished withfactory option privacy rear windows.The standard suspension has been replaced with top quality, fully adjustable, Tein HA coiloverunits, complete with camber adjustable pillow ball top mounts - some of the best units availablefrom Japan, adjustable for both damping rate and ride height level. These are currently set as lowas possible, although this is probably not advisable for UK roads. To make these units even moretolerable for UK roads Tein EDFC (Electronic Damping Force Controller) can be installed, giving incar adjustable damping. Available from www.neweraparts.com. The suspension will be raised priorto shipment to avoid damage to the Vertex bodyparts during transit.Performance wise the 2.0 Turbo, SR20DET (250BHP in Standard Form) has been mildly improvedwith the addition of a Blitz Aluminium Front Mounted Intercooler, replacing the factory plastic, wingmounted unit. This reduces inlet charge temperatures, improving reliability by reducing thechances of detonation and giving more power, due to a denser charge. to improve breathing, also giving a deep induction roar at full throttle. A cat back stainless steellarge bore 'Mega' exhaust system has been fitted to further improve breathing and again provide adeep tone at full throttle, although not intrusive. The original catalyst has been retained. A BlitzMSTT Turbo Timer is fitted to allow the turbo to cool effectively after a spirited drive, preventingpremature turbo wear. Aside from these and the suspension, the car is in standard conditionthroughout, having never been abused throughout it's life.Spec includes: 6 Speed Manual Transmission, Dual SRS Airbags, Climate Control A/C, PAS,ABS, Electric windows (Auto up/down on drivers side), Electrically controlled door mirrors withretract mode, remote central locking. have been crash repaired - not this one! This example has clearly been carefully cherished. It's inoutstanding condition. Underneath, it's also like new. The only minor faults to report are two smallpin dents to the n/s/r and a single pin dent to the drivers door. These will be repaired as part of theUK preparation and are described only for the purpose of providing an accurate report. Signsclearly show of this Silvia having been regularly serviced and well maintained. It would appear thiscar spent most of it's driven gently, cruising at legal speeds in Japan, still at present retaining thestandard speed limiter (removed as part of UK preperation).We test drove this Silvia for some considerable distance & it's clear to us this car was well lookedafter by the previous owner - judging by the tight feeling of the driving experience it gave. Feelstight, with no squeaks or rattles and handles much like our own S15, with a very direct andresponsive feel to the steering, pedals, gearshift and chassis.The suspension is an incredible improvement over standard with the cornering 'wallow' dialed out.Handling on an S15 as standard is biased toward oversteer and sometimes difficult to catch, ifunexpected. This example is tight and precise, very entertaining to drive!In keeping with this car's condition, the interior has no faults at all to report, with no wear to seats,switches or carpets & mats. How the Newera System Works(1). Starting with your inquiry, we provide a quote or e-mail communication, so thatwe are clear on just what you are after. We ask for detailed information from you, sowe can provide an accurate quotation from the beginning. If you are inquiring about acar from stock, steps (2) and (4) are not required.(2). When sourcing to order, our quotation is based on your requirements. As long asyour budget is sufficient for the car youre after & the car is likely to be available, wewill be prepared to find the car you order, or better. Remember: even if you budgettoo much, it doesnt matter. We operate a system of supplying the best car we canfind, plus a set fee of £900. If we can buy your car for a low price, then you make thecorresponding saving.(3). When you are ready to proceed, we ask for a deposit (& completed order form, ifapplicable). The deposit is usually £1,000. If you want a car worth over £10K OTR,then the deposit is £1,500. The deposit is fully refundable without question, shouldyou for any reason need to cancel before a car is bought on your behalf. If you arereserving a car from stock the deposit is refundable less costs and time incurredprovided you cancel 4 working days before shipment from Japan.(4). Miguel, our buyer keeps you informed via e-mail periodically whilst searchingfor your car. Sometimes it can take weeks, even months to find the right car. Inaddition to Miguel attending the major Tokyo auctions daily, we have buyerssearching daily throughout Japan for the car you want. No news simply means wehavent found it yet. We dont buy the first car which comes along. It must meet orexceed your requirements whilst not costing more than the OTR price we agreed,though it frequently costs less.(5). As soon as available, we will e-mail you up to 30 detailed photographs, showingall aspects of your car. We also include a detailed description. Of course, total OTRprice is known at this stage, so we let you know. Cars are insured from the timetheyre bought, to the time they are completed & collected by you in UK.(6). We arrange for your car to be shipped on the first vessel available. Around the timethe car is shipped, we ask for the second instalment. Typically this is approximately60% of the cars OTR total cost. Note that the car we supply to you is fully insured atall times prior to you collecting it.(7) We arrange booking of the SVA test in advance - shortly after the car departs, sothat the car can be tested as soon as possible upon arrival to UK. We also inform ourUK agent of your full contact details and information on everything which needs doing,to make sure the car wil be presented in beautiful condition.(8). Shipping takes 5 weeks. Around 2 weeks before arrival, we ask you for the finalinstalment, to cover Import duties, VAT, shipping, UK conversions, testing,registraton etc.(9). Before the car arrives, we arrange customs clearance, etc. so the car needntspend un-necessary time waiting at the docks upon arrival. It usually takes 3-4 daysfor cars to be unloaded and cleared by UK customs.(10). The car is sent from Southampton to our UK agents premises in Canterburyaboard a car transporter. Upon arrival there, it is SVA converted, derestricted, SVAtested & MOTd (If applicable).All minor cosmetic work required (e.g. bumper scratches) is carried out. The car isfully valetted just before you collect it.(11). The car comes with 6 months road tax and is fully registered in your name asthe first UK keeper. If you have a suitable private number plate youd like to go on thecar, we can also arrange this, provided you have a DVLA retention certificate.N.B.
