We wereable to reflect on theHoly Spirit in our lives,as well as think aboutwhat it could have beenlike to be a Chrisan inthe 1st century. The gospel todayconnues the quesonwe asked last week:Would the Romansoldiers have enoughevidence to convict youas being a Chrisan? We hear Jesus givinghis Apostles the newcommandment: “Loveone another; this is howall will know that youare my disciples, if youhave love for oneanother.”Do people know weare Chrisans? Dopeople know that wehave given our lives toChrist based upon howwe act? Teens, parents, kids, grandparents, doesthe cross around ourJUNIOR HIGHneck change how wespeak, act, or think?Somemes we fail. You fail; I fail. We sin;we forget; we take theeasy way as opposed tothe right way.But in the momentswe fail, we have to lookto the gospel onceagain. Jesus calls us tolove because He loves. We are able to love Himbecause He loves us.When we fail, let’s allrun back to His love andforgiveness.- AlexaNEWSAs our year is almost at an end, I would like to remind you of the manyopportunies we have for your teens to stay connected.
