We are proudthat the “Japan Technology” label represents the highestlevel engine development. However, from a fundamentalviewpoint, we realized we must investigate closely eachpart for improvement and took various new approaches. Asa result, we reduced harmful substances to one-third and,moreover, achieved an output of 67-68ps per liter, which ismuch higher than our target.Pursuing not only “power” and “conformity to emissionregulations”, but also usability remain characteristics of ourproducts. It may be the case that when replacing machines,usability changes between former models and currentproducts become a concern. Taking this into consideration,we worked on maintaining the user friendly features ofconventional models as much as possible.
