Her competitive spirit will be missed and we wish her all the best as she moveson to college.Danielle also has the competitive nature and desire to win that sets players apart.Named a junior captain by her peers, Danielle’s presence on the field is one ofcomposure, tenacity, and simplicity. She does the little things right, and the rightthings extremely well. When we ask something of Danielle, we never have to asktwice. A coachable player is one who is willing and eager to listen and accept advice,but who also has the ability to take that advice and translate it to the game.Danielle’s eagerness to learn, positive attitude, leadership on and off the field, andher continuous desire to achieve excellence as a LC student-athlete are commendedand for these reasons she is the recipient of this year’s Coaches Award.Sophomore Anna Costello: Anna is this year’s Most Improved Player. As afreshman, Anna contributed to the success of the team, but this year she was aconsistent impact player on the attacking line. She came back fitter, stronger, andmore confident. She started every game up top and scored the tying goal againstWestminster in an important Founders League and Class A match-up.
