Mark WatsonMY SPIN ON THINGSOur final event will be on October 15 & 16 at NHMS.This is going to be an event you do not want to miss ...I just re-read my 2011 DE Column and it was filled with mydriving adventures; Lime Rock, Watkins Glen and NHMS. Whata difference a year can makes! I am sad to say that I have donezero driving since NER’s event at Mt. Tremblant; I’ve done a lotof flying back and forth across the country but no driving. Eventoday (16 Sept – sorry David and Tracey) I am not certain if I willbe able to manage both days at our Lime Rock event and it isonly three days away. Everything is planned and your DE Teamare experts at their jobs so I know the event will be fun andsafe for everyone – but for me, I miss seeing and interactingwith all of you at the track. As I said last month, “this is goingto be one of those years that I am going to remember for areally long time and not necessarily because I was able to geta lot of track time ….” I will however take away a renewedadmiration for my DE Team and their ability and willingness todo what is needed to make the NCR DE program successful. Icannot thank them enough and I hope you take some time tothank them when you see them at the track.Please be mindful that there is a new tech form that shouldbe used for future events. It is a two pager so double sidedprinting is advised not only to save paper but to make the techguy’s job easier on Day 1.Our final event will be on October 15 & 16 at NHMS. This isgoing to be an event you do not want to miss as we always (mostalways) have great fall weather and of course Toni is planninganother pig roast. The roast last year was a BIG hit so make plansto attend the event, and the pig roast, right now. It is difficultto add folks to the dinner list at the track since decisions on thesize of pig occur several days in advance of the event. Do notmiss out on this event – I know I’ll be there; well maybe I’ll bethere if we could just get the darn manufacturing site to makesome good product.
