This unique competitionwas developed to include a focus on key S.T.E.M. concepts using K’NEX. The kick-off challenge, which took place in Pittsburgh, PA, hosted 43student teams representing 35 school districts. Each team was given a challenge problem and together planned, designed, built and presentedtheir solutions to a panel of judges. Additionally, each team was required to bring a blueprint of their solution and present a narrative outlineto the judges.
