AUTHORS PRACTICE ROOM<br />
The Nicolet Room on the Mezzanine level will serve as the<br />
author practice room from 8:00am–4:00pm on Monday,<br />
Tuesday and Wednesday. An LCD projector and screen will be<br />
available for authors to practice their presentations.<br />
CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS<br />
The official <strong>2010</strong> <strong>International</strong> <strong>Design</strong> <strong>Engineering</strong> <strong>Technical</strong><br />
Conferences and Computers and Information in <strong>Engineering</strong><br />
Conference proceedings on DVD will be included as part of the<br />
full, student, life and one-day conference participant registration<br />
fees. Vouchers (included with the registration material) can be<br />
turned in at the <strong>ASME</strong> publications booth in return for a copy of<br />
the proceedings.<br />
EXHIBITS<br />
Exhibits will be displayed during the registration hours in the<br />
Hochelaga Foyer.<br />
REGISTRANTS WITH DISABILITIES<br />
Whenever possible, we are pleased to make arrangements for<br />
registrants with disabilities. Advance notice may be required for<br />
certain requests. For on-site assistance, please visit the<br />
registration area on the Mezzanine level and ask to speak with<br />
a conference representative.<br />

GENERAL INFORMATION<br />

Don’t forget to ensure you have a valid passport at all times,<br />
and in some cases, a visa. American citizens returning home<br />
should also be aware that there are new customs requirements<br />

NAME BADGES<br />
Please wear your name badge at all times. Admission to all<br />
conference functions will be approved by either a code on your<br />
badge or a ticket. Your badge also provides a helpful<br />
introduction to other attendees.<br />
REGISTRATION<br />
Registration will be located on the Mezzanine level of the hotel.<br />
The hours are as follows:<br />
Sunday, August 15 7:30am–6:00pm<br />
Monday, August 16 7:00am–6:00pm<br />
Tuesday, August 17 7:00am–5:00pm<br />
Wednesday, August 18 7:00am–12:00pm<br />
TICKETED FUNCTIONS/ITEMS<br />
Access to certain conference functions such as receptions,<br />
workshops, tutorials and conference lunches may be approved<br />
by a code on you registration badge. If you wish to bring a<br />
guest, you must purchase a ticket in advance. If you have<br />
questions about any possible ticketed items, you can ask a<br />
conference representative located in the registration area on the<br />
Mezzanine level.<br />
