CONGRATULATIONS CLASS OF 2011!On May 14 th , 2011, Ave Maria University Latin American Campus celebrated its 15thCommencement Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2011 at Teatro Nacional RubénDarío, Managua. The ceremony started with an invocation by Msgr. Bernardo Hombach,Bishop Emeritus for Granada. Then, Mr. Harvey Leach, Provost of the University,welcomed AMULAC faculty, honored guests, graduating students, parents and friends,and special guest, Monsignor Henryk Jozef Nowacki, Apostolic Nuncio of Nicaragua, who

was awarded with an Honorary Degree in Humanities for his exemplary role inNicaragua’s Catholic Church and the Holy See. Followed by Mr. Leach, ArchbishopNowacki expressed his gratitude and cited Pope John Paul II’s words: “You are the menand women of tomorrow, in your heart and in your hands lies the future. God entrustsyou the task, difficult but exciting, to collaborate with Him in building the civilization oflove.” The ceremony continued with the recognition to graduating students for theiracademic excellence and attainment of educational values at AMULAC. Applauses,cheers and joy accompanied the 75 graduated students during the presentation ofdiplomas.It was a day of enjoyment for all the students, faculty, parents and friends, and specialguests.
