[Fixing supportswith flangesfor OCTOPUSsystemswithout vacuumgenerator]To connect the OCTOPUS system to a vacuumgenerator placed far-off or to an alternativevacuum source, it is necessary to use the fixingsupports shown and described on this page.Supports, made of anodized aluminium, have twoflanges: one to be fixed to the OCTOPUS system,instead of the generator and the other one to thelifting equipment.Moreover they are provided with connections fordirect connection to the OCTOPUS system, to thegenerator or to the alternative vacuum source andto the instruments to read and check the vacuumlevel: unused connections can be closed with theplugs provided for this purpose.Fixing supports with flanges are currently availablein the versions shown on this page and aresuitable for the OCTOPUS systems that use thevacuum generators mentioned beside the article:Art.
