Reduces multiple audits and removes barriers to trade in working towards the goal of “certifiedonce – accepted everywhere.”For those who have voluntarily submitted to the Certification process and to the effects limitedby Certification regulations and standards may state that are an <strong>EU</strong> Certified <strong>Export</strong>Compliant Organization/Person and use the EIFEC logo/EIFEC Number and seal in theircommunications.The <strong>EU</strong> <strong>Export</strong> <strong>Compliance</strong> Register Secretariat reserves the right to remove from theRegister any organisation whose values, goals and/or actions are contrary to the principlesof the <strong>EU</strong> as laid down in Article 6(1) and (2) of the <strong>EU</strong> Treaty and in breach of EIFECregulations.10. What is the EIFEC Registration Number (ERN)?EIFEC acts as the European Registration Secretariat for all registrant to the <strong>EU</strong> <strong>Export</strong> <strong>Compliance</strong>Register(<strong>EU</strong>-<strong>ECR</strong>).An EIFEC Registration Number (ERN) is attributed for the purpose of identifying organizationsor persons in order to ensure their traceability on an <strong>EU</strong> level.This prevents abuse and allows to establish the identity of the Certified Organization in asimple way.The ERN is available for consultation only to those who are entitled as Eu National Authoritiesor Registered Financial Institutions.Organizations that have received the <strong>EU</strong> Certified <strong>Export</strong> Compliant Organization (<strong>EU</strong>-C-ECO) Certification can use the ERN in all their communications with any parties to allow theauthentication that the Certification is still valid.11. Is the <strong>EU</strong>-<strong>ECR</strong> Secretariat able to guarantee that all the information publishedin the Register is correct?The <strong>EU</strong>-<strong>ECR</strong> Secretariat does not check and validate entries upon registration.Only after the Technical Committee (TC) has approved the submission and theGovernors Council (GOVB) has deliberate the admission to the Verification andCertification process all data will be subject to a verification and validation.After the Certification process has been completed successfully and the internationalAudit and Inspections organizations have competed their validations report,a formal statement of validation is given by issuing a time limited Certificate.The <strong>EU</strong> <strong>Export</strong> <strong>Compliance</strong> Register Secretariat reserves the right to remove from theRegister any organisation whose values, goals and/or actions are contrary to the principlesof the <strong>EU</strong> as laid down in Article 6(1) and (2) of the <strong>EU</strong> Treaty and in breach of EIFECregulations.the <strong>EU</strong>-<strong>ECR</strong> Secretariat reserves itself to make regular random or targeted checks toThe <strong>EU</strong> <strong>Export</strong> <strong>Compliance</strong> Register (<strong>EU</strong>-<strong>ECR</strong>) is operated by the European Institute for <strong>Export</strong> <strong>Compliance</strong><strong>EU</strong>-<strong>ECR</strong> Secretariathttp://www.exportcompliance.eu/index.php/en/eu-export-compliance-register-eu-ecrHelpdesk My EIFEC: my.exportcompliance.eu
