HAZARDS IDENTIFICATIONEMERGENCY OVERVIEWPhysical state: pasty WHMIS hazard class: B.2, D.2.A, D.2.BColor:BeigeOdor:Slightly, mineral-oil-likeDANGER:Relevant routes of exposure:FLAMMABLE LIQUID AND VAPOR.VAPOR MAY CAUSE FLASH FIRE.MAY BE HARMFUL IF SWALLOWED OR INHALED.MAY CAUSE EYE, SKIN AND RESPIRATORY TRACT IRRITATION.Inhalation, Skin contactPotential Health EffectsInhalation:Skin contact:Eye contact:Ingestion:Existing conditions aggravated byexposure:May irritate the nose and respiratory system. Vapors may cause headaches, nausea, dizzinessand respiratory tract irritation. Reports have associated repeated and prolonged overexposureto solvents with permanent brain and nervous system damage. Intentional misuse bydeliberately concentrating and inhaling the contents may be harmful or fatal. Abrasion of curedmaterial such as by sanding or grinding could release respirable particles of silica quartz, acancer hazard by inhalation. Normal use of this product causes no such release.Prolonged and/or repeated skin contact with this product may cause irritation/dermatitis.Contact with eyes can cause eye irritation. Symptoms may include stinging, tearing, redness, swelling, and blurred vision.Ingestion can cause gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.Eye, skin and respiratory disorders.See Section 11 for additional toxicological information.3. 4. FIRST AID MEASURESInhalation:Skin contact:If inhaled, immediately remove the affected person to fresh air. If breathing isdifficult, give oxygen. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If symptomsdevelop and persist, get medical attention.Immediately flush skin with plenty of water (using soap, if available). Removecontaminated clothes. If symptoms develop and persist, get medical attention.Eye contact: In case of contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water for 15minutes, and seek immediate medical attention.Ingestion:Do not induce vomiting, seek medical advice immediately.5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURESFlash point:Autoignition temperature:Flammable/Explosive limits - lower:Flammable/Explosive limits - upper:Extinguishing media:Special firefighting procedures:Unusual fire or explosion hazards:Hazardous combustion products:Sensitivity to Mechanical Impact:Sensitivity to static discharge:-15 °C (5°F) no methodNot availableNot availableNot availableWater spray (fog), foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide. Do not direct a solidstream of water or foam into hot, burning pools; this may result in frothing andincrease fire intensity. In case of fire, keep containers cool with water spray.Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus with a full face piece operated inpressure-demand or other positive pressure mode. Wear full protectiveclothing.Closed containers may explode when exposed to extreme heat. Vapors mayform explosive mixtures with air. Vapors are heavier than air and may travelalong floor to an ignition source. Fumes and vapors from thermaldecompositions vary in composition and toxicity.Carbon dioxide. Carbon monoxide. Acrid smoke and fumes. Not sensitive to mechanical impact.Electrostatic charge may build-up during handling. Grounding of equipment isrecommended.6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURESUse personal protection recommended in Section 8, isolate the hazard area and deny entry to unnecessary and unprotectedpersonnel.Environmental precautions:Clean-up methods:Eliminate all sources of ignition or flammables that may come into contact witha spill of this material. Ventilate area.Absorb spill with inert material. Shovel material into appropriate container fordisposal. Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection.Clean residue with soap and water. Do not allow product to enter sewer orwaterways.7. HANDLING AND STORAGEHandling:During use and until all vapors are gone: Keep area ventilated - do notsmoke; extinguish all flames, pilot lights, and heaters; turn off stoves, electricaltools and appliances, and any other sources of ignition. Do not inhale vaporsand fumes. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Do not taste orswallow. Keep out of the reach of children. Wash thoroughly after handling.IDH number: 1113123 1421916Page 2 of 5Product name: LePage PL300 Foamboard Adhesive

Storage:Keep away from heat, spark and flame. Keep containers closed when not inuse. For information on product shelf life, please review labels on container or check the Technical Data Sheet.8.
