• Dave Koster<br />

Vice President Service & Support<br />

Dave Koster joined <strong>Leica</strong> <strong>Geosystems</strong> in late 2000. Mr. Koster has a medical<br />

engineering background and has studied electronics. Working for Philips Medical<br />

Systems (1989-1992) and Toshiba Medical Systems (1992-1998), Mr. Koster<br />

has accumulated substantial experience in international Customer Support and<br />

Service. Prior to joining <strong>Leica</strong> <strong>Geosystems</strong>, Mr. Koster worked for Roche<br />

Molecular Systems (1998-2000), gaining experience in the field of Information &<br />

Knowledge Management as a project manager. Mr. Koster co-authored 2<br />

scientific papers about rendering of 3D X-ray images and the measurement of<br />

vessels in the human brain.<br />

• Juerg Leuenberger<br />

Vice President Financial Controlling<br />

Juerg Leuenberger joined <strong>Leica</strong> <strong>Geosystems</strong> in 1991 as a Financial Controller for<br />

the Industrial Measurement, Photogrammetry and Land Information Businesses.<br />

In 1995 he lead the Customer Support and Service for Photogrammetry and<br />

Land Information Systems. In 1996 he again took over controlling in the fastgrowing<br />

Industrial Measurement Division. In addition, he was involved in many<br />

Corporate Projects in the M&A and Spin-off area. He was also involved in the IPO<br />

preparation of <strong>Leica</strong> <strong>Geosystems</strong> in 2000. He was a Member of the Board of<br />

Novalis (a daughter company of <strong>Leica</strong> <strong>Geosystems</strong>) from February 1999 to July<br />

2000. Prior to joining <strong>Leica</strong> <strong>Geosystems</strong> Mr. Leuenberger was working as a<br />

representative in a midsize local consulting company. He holds a masters degree<br />

in Business Economics with a concentration in Finance, Controlling and Taxation.<br />

• Harald Traxler<br />

Vice President Operations & Supply Chain<br />

Harald Traxler joined the <strong>Leica</strong> Group in 1991 as a Process Engineer for<br />

geodetical products in the former GEO business unit (now known as the<br />

Surveying & Engineering Division). Since 1995, he was responsible for managing<br />

projects in <strong>Leica</strong> <strong>Geosystems</strong> 'Licensing' Initiative, such as Joint Venture for<br />

Tacheometers in Russia and EDM License Production in China. Later, he was<br />

responsible for setting up the TPS Assembly in Singapore. He then took the lead<br />

of Process Engineering in IMS in 1999, now known as the Metrology Division. In<br />

addition, he was in charge of the production of laser trackers and accessories.<br />

Harald Traxler also covers all quality, occupational safety and environmental<br />

aspects for the Metrology Division in Switzerland. Since 2004, Mr. Traxler holds<br />

the position of the VP Operations & Supply Chain. Prior to joining <strong>Leica</strong><br />
