Mr. Koster has a medical engineering background and has studied electronics. Working for Philips Medical Systems (1989-1992) and Toshiba Medical Systems (1992-1998), Mr. Koster has accumulated substantial experience in international Customer Support and Service. Prior to joining Leica Geosystems, Mr. Koster worked for Roche Molecular Systems (1998-2000), gaining experience in the field of Information & Knowledge Management as a project manager. Mr. Koster co-authored 2 scientific papers about rendering of 3D X-ray images and the measurement of vessels in the human brain. • Juerg Leuenberger Vice President Financial Controlling Juerg Leuenberger joined Leica Geosystems in 1991 as a Financial Controller for the Industrial Measurement, Photogrammetry and Land Information Businesses. In 1995 he lead the Customer Support and Service for Photogrammetry and Land Information Systems. In 1996 he again took over controlling in the fastgrowing Industrial Measurement Division. In addition, he was involved in many Corporate Projects in the M&A and Spin-off area. He was also involved in the IPO preparation of Leica Geosystems in 2000. He was a Member of the Board of Novalis (a daughter company of Leica Geosystems) from February 1999 to July 2000. Prior to joining Leica Geosystems Mr. Leuenberger was working as a representative in a midsize local consulting company. He holds a masters degree in Business Economics with a concentration in Finance, Controlling and Taxation. • Harald Traxler Vice President Operations & Supply Chain Harald Traxler joined the Leica Group in 1991 as a Process Engineer for geodetical products in the former GEO business unit (now known as the Surveying & Engineering Division). Since 1995, he was responsible for managing projects in Leica Geosystems 'Licensing' Initiative, such as Joint Venture for Tacheometers in Russia and EDM License Production in China. Later, he was responsible for setting up the TPS Assembly in Singapore. He then took the lead of Process Engineering in IMS in 1999, now known as the Metrology Division. In addition, he was in charge of the production of laser trackers and accessories. Harald Traxler also covers all quality, occupational safety and environmental aspects for the Metrology Division in Switzerland. Geosystems, Harald Traxler worked in the field of mechanical engineering in CNC programming and machining. Mr. Traxler holds a Bachelor in Business Engineering from the Liechtenstein University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule Liechtenstein). • Jean Gardiner Vice President Sales Region Americas Jean Gardiner is an industry veteran with over 12 years of sales and management experience. Since joining Leica Geosystems she has served as a Regional Sales Manager, National Sales Manager and Business Development Manager. Her experience within the industry has helped build and develop the Americas Metrology Division. In her current role as Vice President, she is responsible for Sales, Service and Support within the Americas Region. Prior to joining Leica Geosystems in 1995, Ms. Gardiner worked in the Automotive Production Management field as a Production Area Manager at Chrysler Corporation (1994-1995) as well as a Manufacturing Planning Specialist at Ford Motor Company (1991- 1994). She began her sales career working as a Product Specialist at Morrell Inc. and as a systems integrator of hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic equipment. Ms. Gardiner holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Management from the University of Missouri - Rolla, USA. • Adrian Lee Vice President Sales Region Asia Pacific Adrian Lee is a technical sales and management professional with over 13 years of experience in heavy industry, aviation and general industry markets. Prior to joining Leica Geosystems AG in May 2005, Adrian had been working as a country manager in Snap-On Korea between 2003 and 2005. At Watlow Korea Mr. Lee held the job of Business Development Manager from 1999 to 2003. During his tenure at Hyundai Motors (1992 –1996), he was in charge of direct sales, setting up dealer networks and making technical sales of heavy earth-moving equipment. Mr. Lee holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration in International Business from the University of Western Sydney, Australia. • Duncan Redgewell Vice President Sales Region Europe Duncan Redgewell joined Leica Geosystems in 1988 and moved to the Industrial Division in 1990 where he worked extensively with first sales of laser trackers into gaugeless building and the automated assembly of military aircraft within Europe. More recently, he has been responsible for bringing together the sales organizations of the individual European Countries into one centralized sales team and oversees the implementation of a common approach to customer sales, support and service across the region.
