This comprehensive instructor’s course focuses on the properand safe use of less-lethal devices and alternatives featuring Defense Technology ® Law Enforcementaerosol products.In short, all students successfully completing these programs will receive a certificate of completion forthe Instructor Program from <strong>Safariland</strong> Training Group enabling them to provide departmental training.Furthermore, they will obtain the necessary information that will allow them to develop lesson plans,draft policy and procedures, and provide valid documentation supporting the use of less-lethalmunitions.<strong>Safariland</strong> Training Group trains only Law Enforcement, Corrections, Military, and licensed securitypersonnel. 4-DAY INSTRUCTOR COURSE PROGRAM OVERVIEWATTENDANCE:As a thank you for becoming a host agency, we are providing you with two additional complimentaryregistrations in each of the four programs. We hope, in return, that you will refer other agencies to our greatprogram. You may elect to send two officers for all four days, or you are welcome to rotate up tofour officers in and out of individual programs. If we have fourteen officers register for theentire 4-Day program you will be entitled to a third seat in each of the four programs. Wewill handle all registrations, so make certain that those you reach understand that they will registerthrough <strong>Safariland</strong> Training Group at www.safariland.com/training or call 800-347-1200 Option 6.Please note we have a late fee of $25.00 if the registrations are not received 21 days prior to yourcourse start date. We also require pre-payment for the course from all attendees.We must have a minimum of twelve officers attend (not including your complimentary two spots)in order to conduct the program. We will keep you informed as to the enrollment.SPECIAL ATTENTION: SWAT Team Members & Police Instructor StaffThis agency is hosting the professional training staff of The <strong>Safariland</strong> Training Group who will bepresenting a 4-day Basic Instructor Course Less Lethal Training Program at ___________ on___________. The complete program consists of the following 4 areas: OC AEROSOLPROJECTORS, LESS LETHAL IMPACT MUNITIONS, CHEMICAL MUNITIONS ANDDISTRACTION DEVICES. Attendance of these programs will enable the student to continue inservicetraining for their department by providing both the technical and tactical informationneeded for effective product use. This program will cover a wide range of integrated use of forceoptions enhancing officer safety and support courtroom testimony. Students may attend all or anycombination of the four programs. Upon successful completion, The <strong>Safariland</strong> Training Groupwill issue the student a certificate of completion in the appropriate subject. Each attendee must bephysically fit for duty and able to perform the physical skills associated with tactical applicationswith the use of these products. This certificate is valid for three calendar years from coursecompletion.
