air or B.B. gun, metal knuckles, chain razor, ice pick, explosive or any other tool, instrument or implement
capable of inflicting serious bodily injury, or any item defined as a firearm under Title 18 United States Code,
Section 921.
Written notice of any incident involving possession of a weapon on school premises shall be given to the
parent/guardian(s) of the student and to the appropriate law enforcement agency.
Any student who is determined to have brought a weapon (defined as firearm under 18 USC Section 921) to
school shall be expelled from school for a period of no less than one (1) year. However, the Superintendent may
modify an expulsion requirement for a student on a case-by-case basis.
