Week at a GlanceWhile Totus Tuus keeps a rigorous schedule, during the course of the week there are slight deviations tothe typical daily schedule that are intentionally built into the program. The following gives a brief glanceat the week’s major events. Grade School ProgramThe Totus Tuus Grade School Program is designed for children entering first through sixth grades in the2011-12 school year. The Grade School Program runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30p.m.Totus Tuus endeavors to show the youth that a humble and courageous desire to know God must bebased upon a personal relationship with our Lord and a steadfast, disciplined life of prayer combinedwith the reception of the sacraments.The Grade School Program is very structured with the high point of each day being Mass, allowing us tocenter everything we do around Christ present to us the in Eucharist.The largest portion of each day is spent on catechesis of the youth in a classroom setting. The childrenare split up into age groups (usually 1 st & 2 nd , 3 rd & 4 th , and 5 th & 6 th ) so that instruction and questionscan be directed appropriately.While classes comprise a large part of the day, Totus Tuus is not school and makes sure that the kidshave FUN too! Therefore, we have a “pump up” to start each day, snack break in the morning, recess and“cool down” after lunch, and a skit break in the afternoon.2012 Curriculum: 1st - 6th GradesAs stated above, the Totus Tuus program has divided the four pillars of the Catechism of the CatholicChurch into a six-year cycle. To complement the Catechism cycle, Totus Tuus adds a four-year cyclededicated to the mysteries of the Rosary.
