Tradition<br />
An innate passion for machinery and<br />
plant construction has dominated the history<br />
of the Henkel family for generations.<br />
The founders of the <strong>EPC</strong> Group are proudly<br />
looking back to more than 120 years of<br />
engineering tradition. As shown by old<br />
documents, the Henkel family machinery<br />
was awarded prizes at a number of exhibitions<br />
back as early as 1894.<br />
Almost a century later, the <strong>EPC</strong> Group<br />
has been founded: as <strong>EPC</strong> Engineering<br />
Consulting GmbH in Rudolstadt. Finally,<br />
after the reunion of Germany, the success<br />
story was continued from its roots. By<br />
founding other companies, <strong>EPC</strong> Group<br />
steadily expanded its business portfolio.<br />

the technology for polycarbonate chips<br />
production, but also in combination with<br />
the turnkey services for the required industrial<br />

Biodiesel plants<br />

from the oil fruit as a raw material for biodiesel<br />
up to the production of glycerine in<br />
pharmaceutical quality. In their planning<br />

optimised side processes. They guarantee<br />

Bioethanol plants<br />
Set a good example. The environmental<br />

recycled so that there is virtually no waste<br />

Deeper processing of grain<br />
The deeper processing of grain includes<br />
the production of modified flour, native/<br />
modified starch and glucose/ maltose<br />
syrup. The by-product that are generated<br />
during the main production process, are<br />
used as high-quality, nutritious animal food.<br />
In the grain refinement plants of <strong>EPC</strong> the<br />
raw material is cleaned and automatically<br />
separated into its single components<br />
so that it can be further processed in the<br />
downstream process steps, as required. All<br />
processes are focused on precision, so that<br />
not even the smallest raw material component<br />
is lost. Because of those sophisticated<br />
technologies and effective plant concepts<br />
our customers are able to produce exquisite<br />
and high-quality grain products at globally<br />
competitive prices.<br />
Oil mills<br />
Vegetable oils are an important factor<br />
in a healthy living. The kind of pressing<br />
process decides about the conservation of<br />
the ingredients. Our clients are experts in<br />
this field and provide our engineers with<br />
the vital impulses. This results in an innovative<br />
production of vegetable oil. The specific<br />
pressing or extraction process always<br />
depends on the size of the plant.<br />
Fruit processing plants<br />
Ingredient-conserving processing. Highest<br />
