LIGHTGATEbasicLighting management for luminaire groups with daylight-dependent control and presence detectionSystem featuresLIGHTGATEbasic is the basic version of theLIGHTGATE family systems. The lightingmanagement system is suitable for installingin luminaires and has been designed for useat workstations or in small rooms. The systemcombines automatic presence detection withconstant light control to achieve maximumenergy savings. Both functions can be deactivated.Nominal values for constant lightcontrol, switch-off delay and operating mode(automatic / semi-automatic) can be set independently.The connected DALI luminaires canbe operated in two groups via separate DALIconnections. In rooms with differing daylightquantities (e.g. window at the end of theroom), control with two separate light sensors(individual group control) is recommended,although offset control is also possible. Assoon as both DALI groups are in standbyoperation, mains supply to the luminaires isswitched off via the integral circuit-breakerin order to minimise standby losses. Theluminaires can also be manually switched anddimmed via an installation button. These are wiredready for connection. All required electricalconnections are at easily accessible luminaireterminals (voltage supply, switched phase L,2 x DALI, 1 push-button, 1 x RJ10 for externalsensors).
