Test specimens were preparedpursuant to the requirements of the standard,then one-half of each specimen was coveredwith aluminium foil and the specimenexposed to UV light for 72 hours. Onconclusion of the testing period, the colourdeviations between the covered and thenon-covered parts of the specimens weremeasured. Colour discrepancies weredetermined based on ∆E values: the smallerthe value found, the more UV-resistant thematerial. Compared to other products, in:joycomposite exhibited very low values,indicating that it is particularly UV-resistant.GPaElastic modulus, GPain:joyProduct AProduct BElastic modulusThe elastic modulus indicates how elastic amaterial is. It is defined as the slope of thestress-strain curve in the elastic deformationregion. Testspecimens were exposed to 120,000chewing cycles (at a frequency of 1.6 Hz) ata force of 50 N and a lateral movement of0.7 mm. The result indicates the volumeloss of the restoration in mm³.
