TOP GUN ® <strong>1411</strong><strong>PPG</strong> Architectural CoatingsTOP GUN ® <strong>Tub</strong> and <strong>Tile</strong> <strong>Sealant</strong>GENERAL SURFACE PREPARATIONClean surface of residual soap, mildew, loose grout and old caulk. Rinse the surface thoroughly. Apply TOP GUN <strong>Tub</strong> and <strong>Tile</strong><strong>Sealant</strong> when the surface is dry. Areas with existing mold or mildew, should first be cleaned with a mild bleach solution.WARNING! If you scrape, sand, or remove old paint, you may release lead dust or fumes. LEAD IS TOXIC. EXPOSURE TO LEADDUST OR FUMES CAN CAUSE SERIOUS ILLNESS, SUCH AS BRAIN DAMAGE, ESPECIALLY IN CHILDREN. PREGNANTWOMEN SHOULD ALSO AVOID EXPOSURE. Wear a properly fitted NIOSH-approved respirator and prevent skin contact to controllead exposure. Clean up carefully with a HEPA vacuum and a wet mop. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.Permissible temperatures during application:Temperature Range:Dew Point:Air and surface40ºF to 110ºF (43.3ºC)Optimum product temperature60ºF to 80ºF (16ºC to 27ºC)Surface must be at least 5ºF (3ºC) above the dew point.Application Information: Install backer-rod uniformly into deep cracks to control sealant depth. For cracks up to 1/2 inch wide,set the backer-rod from 1/4 to 1/2 inch deep. Bond breaker tape may be used for joints not deep enough for backer-rod.Remove cap and trim nozzle to desired bead size. Immediately upon application, bead may be smoothed with a sponge or puttyknife. Clean up excess caulk with damp cloth before it dries.
